Glasgow (Hamilton) hotel

We were on our way up to Glasgow for the weekend but needed something not in the city centre. This was just off the motorway and easy to jump back on the next morning, so great location. Once inside, it’s clean, fresh and has helpful staff. The bed was comfy and we all slept great in the one room. Except for my husbands snoring, but we can’t blame Premier Inn for that! We arrived late so we needed food and the most excellent late night takeaway, Mr Chef, was right next door! Cracking cakes.

Our experience at the premier Inn hotel in Hamilton was totally amazing. All of the Staff were extremely friendly and helpful even went a extra mile to accommodate my grandmother and I with a late dinner at the restaurant at 8:45pm on Thursday night when we returned from Glenton coach trip to Ireland. Even though the evening meal menu was limited because the restaurant is now closed to the public however we was extremely grateful that we could be able to grab something eat inside the hotel after a long day we had. The food at dinner was lovely and plentiful. breakfast was good even though there's some items missing from the buffet due to the clear out before the relaunch. Our room was clean, spotless, spacious and comfortable. It was the best sleep I had during my 27th Birthday Bash holiday, I love the bed. I highly recommended this premier Inn hotel if you're looking for somewhere to have a overnight stopover before we go home completely with Dinner, Bed, Hot Bath, Breakfast and recharge your energy battery then Premier Inn hotel in Hamilton it's the best place for a post holiday stay.

Was rather shocked when I decided to stay here after a 7 hour drive. I got there oh now maybe ten or twelve minutes before three and went in to find a no contact or room access allowed until 3pm. Room access I can deal with that but after ringing the desk bell to beg for the use of a bathroom and being told we can't do that and there is not one. You will have to wait until full check inn has been done and you can access your room for bathroom use. Wow just wow a public hotel with no public bathroom facilities. 1st time I have ever entered a hotel and been faced with no facilities on ground floor or reception. The fact I am disabled for reasons I won't publicise caused me distress and I had to go to asda supermarket to deal with urgent needs close to the hotel. The rooms can't fault them but this by far should be a huge concern.Even if resteraunt on site is closed there needs to be bathroom facilities. Made this experience rather shocking and why other hotels would be booked first. Had to also request more than one towel at desk again should we need to as staff are aware of bookings so 1 towel? Cmon there's being tight and taking the....Few other issues but more than stated a big issue

Great location, clean and accessible. Parking right outside with a restaurant on-site. Problem is with staffing levels - one guy in the litchen during a packed breakfast session. When quizzed, he replied there only is one person in the kitchen for breakfast - there weren't even any clean plates let alone food available - had to wait for everything

Staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable - we arrived just as the kitchen was closing and the receptionist immediately went to ensure we could still get some food, she also took the time to explain the fire evacuation process (my husband uses a wheelchair) and assured us we would be taken care of in the event of an emergency - this is not typical, most hotels don’t bother. Every member of staff was cheerful, friendly and professional - very impressed. The accessible room was clean although smelled of stale smoke - hotel could use some tlc.
