"Good base to stay while visiting family."
Warm welcome at reception. Good sized rooms and bathroom. Excellent choice at breakfast, well cooked and good portion sizes.

"Poor"
Arrived late. Check in was edgy and friendly
Got to the room and pretty much went straight to bed after a 6 hour drive. Woke up in the morning and saw the poor state of the bathroom. Black mould on the ceiling and walls. Rusty towel rail. Dirty soap dispenser. We decided to not shower. Grabbed a quick breakfast and left. We had a long journey ahead and dropped our room card and left. Corridors were marked. There was an aroma in the corridors. We chose a premier in for quality but this was far below our expectations. We won't be returning

"Decent value hotel, just let down by the heat of the room."
Location was perfect, room excessively hot and couldn’t open the window as it was adjacent to a busy road/motorway which was loud. No fan or aircon so if you do go to stay ask for a room not in the same side as the motorway! Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and bathroom sink slow to drain. Bed was comfortable and staff at the hotel were lovely.

"Hot and cold"
We spent 2 night at this Premier Inn. 13/14 April 26. The hotel is very easy to find from the motorway system. The welcome was warm and we were quickly checked in. We have found in the past couple of years that Premier seem to be building new hotels and not paying much attention to the upkeep of existing ones. This one was no exception, it does need a lick of paint. We are usually comfortable in PI beds, this one was but the pillows were far too firm. Being adjacent to the motorway was a bit of a problem as the soundproofing was pretty poor and the chances of sleeping with a window open was zero. Another issue with PI is that the 'one size fits all' breakfast is not much good if you only want cereal and a cup of tea. Its a tenner, no matter what. This PI is next to a Wetherspoons which has the facility to offer a small breakfast at a third of the price.
But on to the positives. The bus stop a few yards from the hotel is useful to get in to Glasgow. The city is one massive building site at the moment and I wouldn't fancy driving and finding a place to park. The bus is only a fiver return and takes about 40 minutes. Half of which is spent negotiating the streets of the city centre. We enjoyed the stay and the staff we met were all pleasant. We would stay again, but are not sure if the do the upgraded rooms at this location. Is so, there were none available when we booked.

"Impressed with everything"
We stayed on 11th and 12th March 2026 and were very impressed with every member of staff we met. Everyone was professional, helpful and friendly and service in all areas was great, they made us feel relaxed and very welcome. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Menu had a great choice and food and was excellent in terms of quality, portions and value for money. Look forward to going back. Thanks to the Travelodge team 😀
