Glasgow East Kilbride Central hotel

Honestly, this was a very disappointing experience. The condition of the rooms was shocking and, quite frankly, unacceptable. The standard was nowhere near what I would expect from a Premier Inn, and it seriously needs attention. A hotel room should be clean, presentable and well maintained, and unfortunately that was not my experience here. Another major issue was the behaviour of some members of staff. I overheard staff openly speaking badly about other colleagues, which I found incredibly unprofessional. These conversations were loud enough for guests to hear and created a very poor impression of the hotel and its staff. Whatever personal or workplace issues exist between colleagues, guests should not be made to listen to them. That being said, I don't want to overlook the staff who actually did make a positive impression. The food was genuinely very good, and the chef deserves credit for that. The front-of-house staff were also fantastic — friendly, helpful and professional, and they were probably the biggest positive of the whole experience. It's frustrating because there are clearly staff here who care about doing a good job, but the shocking condition of the rooms and the lack of professionalism from some staff really let the hotel down. There is a lot of room for improvement, and I would hope management takes these issues seriously rather than allowing them to continue.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a really great stay at the Premier Inn and wanted to give a special mention to Megan, Ross and Jenna. The team work incredibly hard and are always friendly, welcoming and willing to help. Ross in particular went above and beyond when I needed help with my parking. He was really helpful and patient and made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. It’s clear how much effort the team puts in to make guests feel welcome, and their hard work definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. A big thank you to Megan, Ross and Jenna for making my stay a pleasant one. They’re a real credit to the hotel! So much love chris give these guys a pay rise

My father and I stayed here and the room was of a very good standard and very clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and organised a taxi for us even coming to our door to let us know that the taxi had arrived early! Breakfast was very busy and the service was friendly and although they were short staffed we had a very enjoyable breakfast and a great chat with chef Chris and Ross the manger after all guests were looked after. Thank you all so very much for spoiling us and helping to make my father’s 86th Birthday a special occasion to remember. We were very impressed by Ross, Chef Chris and the lovely reception team.

Rooms very clean very quiet hotel excellent location brilliant very close to shopping mall and 8 mile drive to Glasgow local pub just minutes away

Central location, near town centre. Room was comfortable and clean and was nice and peaceful at night time. All of the staff - receptionists, chefs, waiting staff and room attendants were really nice, couldn't do enough for us. We are between houses just now and the staff really made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this Premier Inn, particularly because of the customer service
