"Dated and dirty"
The location was 15 mins by car from centre , not the nicest hotel to drive up to , full of potholes , car park had loads of rubbish about and wipes hanging from the shrubs , room was dated , dust on the top of curtains thick , so came down when closing , dirty soap dispenser , corridor smelt musty , very over priced

"CENTRAL LOCATION"
I have just recently had a night away at this hotel in East Kilbride which I have used in the past over many years but not recently.
There used to be a SUPER restaurant on site called the Crooked Lum but sadly this closed a few years ago which was a real blow as it was very popular always.
I was on foot so had to walk up from the Bus Station to the hotel and I was totally taken aback at how run down the area was and the gardens were all overgrown and totally neglected. Walking in past what was the Crooked Lum seemed unsafe and I was really upset to find this.
I was warmly welcomed and I was very pleased to be told I had been allocated the room I had requested.
The room was comfortable and clean but a couple of things had been overlooked one being the toilet tissue dispenser had not been filled up so I had to go to reception to ask for toilet tissue. Next morning when I was going to make a coffee I discovered that there was water in the kettle which most certainly should not have been there!
I did not make use of the NEW restaurant which has been created using some of the rooms within the main hotel building. It looked ok and the young lady I spoke to was very friendly .
Because of the place looking so 'RUN DOWN' I do not think I will be using this particular Premier Inn in East Kilbride again. Sorry to have to say this but my opinion.

"Disappointed, run down hotel."
Location- easy to get to by car. Walking distance to run down shopping centre. Walk feels unsafe through overgrown pathway past a run down old restaurant.
Room- too warm. Thick duvet on bed in the middle of summer. There was a fan which had no effect on the heat.
Food. Was told on arrival that the restaurant was closed for the night. The restaurant was the run down, abandoned building that you walk past to go to run down shopping centre. The website is out of date. Breakfast was barely acceptable.
Cleanliness. Dusty carpets in hallways and under the bed. That I could see without pulling out. Hair in the shower drain.
Water pressure weak.
Staff - staff we spoke to were all welcoming and helpful.
I didn’t raise issues with staff but did contact the feedback team who dismissed the feedback as I didn’t raise with staff on site.

"Impressed with service"
Location was great for us, the room was ok, maybe it could do with refurbishment. The room was clean. We only stayed for 1 night and initially thought we were getting an extra bed as shown in the image when making a booking. I've put it down to me not double-checking and didnt want to make a fuss. The staff was super nice, which made our stay easier. I asked for an early check-in, extra coffee, and the staff were very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with.

"Terrible"
We had a terrible experience here I wouldn’t recommend to anyone for these reasons
There was no chef on site for dinner. Was not allowed to buy a drink from the Bar/ restaurant at midday.
No a/c in the rooms and the fans provided was unfit for purpose didn’t blow anything out couldn’t feel it and was a big deal at 28 degrees as the room stats was saying. Was provided a kettle but no tea bags or coffee, only one towel even tho stated there was 2 people in the room.
Corridor smelt terrible like a mixture of sick and gone off milk it was so bad had to hold breath to the room and questionable stains on the curtains looked like sperm.
