"Excellent stay!"
My stay here was amazing. The new restaurant in the hotel was absolutely brilliant. The food was outstanding and the service we received from Kaitlyn and Gavin was top tier. I will definitely be returning!

"Very good but could have been better"
I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Central East Kilbride and came away very satisfied with the overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to access the town centre, nearby shops, and local amenities. Parking was straightforward, which is always a plus when travelling by car.
The hotel itself is well located, with easy access to the town centre and nearby amenities. Parking was simple and convenient, which made arrival stress-free. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cosy-definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The hotel was also quiet, allowing for a good night’s sleep.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, at check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
However, the biggest letdown was the breakfast experience. The restaurant was clearly underprepared, with several key items running out during service. This meant limited choice and a frustrating start to the day, especially when breakfast is something you expect to be reliable. It didn’t feel well managed, and no real effort was made to keep items replenished in a timely manner. Management should be ashamed of themselves and to expect the girls serving to take the heat for this mismanagement.
Overall, while the hotel itself is comfortable and conveniently located, the poor breakfast service was disappointing and would make me think twice about staying again. As I’ve stayed there quite a few times now.

"Hotel is great, staff are brilliant, just dont eat there"
The staff are great, very friendly and welcoming
However the breakfast was horrendous in the beefeater restaurant, so bad we requested a full refund for the food . the food was served cold and items on the plate were under cooked properly, the coffee machine served luke warm drinks. we had to leave the hotel to eat else where for breakfast

"Big Things Coming"
From the moment I arrived at Premier Inn East Kilbride Central, it was clear the hotel is going through a period of change and transition. You can see there’s a lot happening behind the scenes, and it’s obviously not an easy process to manage while still running day-to-day operations. That said, what stood out most was how well the team handled it.
Despite the disruption, the welcome I received was genuinely excellent. Stuart and Jenna in particular were brilliant—approachable, professional, and clearly working hard to keep everything running smoothly. They didn’t just provide good service, they took the time to explain what was happening with the changes, which made me feel included rather than inconvenienced. It gave a real sense that the team care about the guest experience, even when things aren’t in a perfect, finished state.
There was a real effort to keep things positive and engaging, and it worked. Instead of feeling like I was staying somewhere mid-renovation, it felt like I was getting a glimpse into something evolving. The atmosphere was still welcoming, the standards were still high, and the team made sure guests were looked after every step of the way.
If anything, it’s made me more interested in coming back. You can see the potential in what’s being built, and after experiencing the level of service from Stuart and Jenna, I’d be genuinely excited to return and see the finished space.

"Stay somewhere else"
Stayed for 2 nights in February 26. Arrived on Friday evening to be told no breakfast slots available on Saturday morning and only continental available on Sunday due to known staffing issues.
Went to attached restaurant at 8pm Friday which was empty, then waited over half an hour to get a drink. The girls working behind the bar were very nice, but they said the restaurant was short staffed and therefore there was no food available. These staffing issues were known in advance, but the management hadn’t either sorted the issue or contacted guests to advise the service would be limited. The bar then closed at 9:30pm, again with no warning.
We had a table booked on Saturday evening for a meal which we were told on Friday would be ok. We arrived back at the Premier Inn at 8pm to go for our meal, only to find out the bar and restaurant weren’t opening and therefore we had nowhere to eat as a group of 8 including two children. We ended up having to pay for taxis to another premier inn in the area to get food, which was very rushed and inconvenient.
We would not have booked this premier inn if the facilities advertised weren’t available. The staff advised they were understaffed when we asked, and this was known in advance, but the management didn’t contact us in advance to give us the option of booking elsewhere or bringing food/drink with us.
When we complained, we were told to contact customer service who were frankly totally unhelpful.
The rooms are older for premier inns although the beds are comfy, but based on the service we received, I’d say stay somewhere else.
