"Awful experience"
I didn’t get a good nights sleep on any of the 3 nights I stayed. This was because I was out in a room on a floor entirely occupied by school children who ran up and down the corridors banging on doors and shouting. Despite the hotel staff knowing there was a problem on the floor -which I discovered the first time I complained at reception- and subsequently admitting this they refuse to honour their Good Nights Sleep guarantee. I had two rooms booked for the weekend and they put us on separate floors 3 floors apart. They should have put the adult with the children in the room they gave to me. I’m really disappointed by the way Premier Inn have handled this. The manager hasn’t even bothered to reply to my email.

"Great place to stay"
Excellent hotel, perfect location for exploring the city centre and attending gig at O2 Academy.
Very friendly staff and clean, welcoming atmosphere. Rooms were perfect and even overslept!
Great value, will definitely stay again.

"A Good Premier Inn!!"
I have just returned from my second stay at this hotel and unfortunately, I forgot to write a review after my first trip!!
This is a great Premier Inn. Like all other hotels in the chain, it is very consistent and ticks all the key boxes you would expect.
The rooms are comfortable although the room I had during my second stay showed some signs of damage which had not been rectified. That was a minor thing though and I had a good night’s sleep on each of the 3 nights I was staying.
The location is excellent within easy walking distance of both Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central Stations. I was working in Ayr and Greenock whilst staying in Glasgow and this hotel was great for both.
There is an onsite restaurant where breakfast was served. I did not eat there on an evening, but breakfast was plentiful and there was a wide variety of choice.
If you do not wish to eat in the restaurant onsite there are a number of eateries nearby including Wetherspoons and Nando’s. There is also a Cinema just across the square in the St Enoch Centre just in case you do not fancy a night sat in your room. I went to see Top Gun!!
The staff on both visits were friendly and check-in / out was very efficient.
I will be returning to Glasgow again soon and it is good to know I have found a good hotel to stay in!!

"Great for a couple of nights."
Good location, very clean, excellent value and overall good experience. The only thing was the breakfast food wasn't hot from the buffet. That aside I'd recommend this hotel for a couple of nights when visiting Glasgow

"A 3-star hotel with hostel-level service."
If you want a decent stay with peace of mind, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
From day one, the experience was unpleasant. We had two separate bookings and politely asked whether it would be possible to stay in the same room throughout the stay since the first reservation was a single bed and the 2nd one should come with 2 beds. Instead of a helpful response, the “Receptionist” responded with a dismissive attitude and told us they could “just convert the sofa into a bed.” However, after checking in, we discovered that this hotel apparently only has one real bed in the room — the “second bed” is simply a sofa bed. This was never clearly communicated beforehand. For travelers staying as two adults expecting proper twin beds, this is something you should absolutely be aware of.
What made the experience worse was how inconvenient every basic service was. Want your room cleaned? You have to notify reception. Want breakfast? You have to reserve a breakfast table in advance even though breakfast was already paid for. The entire experience felt like a budget airline model where every small detail becomes an extra process or inconvenience.
The biggest issue, however, was the customer service. The attitude from the same “receptionist” throughout the stay was consistently rude and unhelpful. When we requested room cleaning, the housekeeping service turned out to be almost non-existent: the floor mat was replaced, but the beds were not made, towels were not changed, glasses were untouched, the bathtub wasn’t cleaned, and even the trash bin was left full. When we went back to ask whether the room had actually been cleaned, the same “receptionist” responded with:
“What kind of cleaning service did you ask for?”
Honestly, I was genuinely confused by that question. In most hotels, “room cleaning” has a pretty standard meaning.
I understand this is a 3-star hotel, and I was never expecting luxury. But basic hospitality, transparency, and respectful service should still be the minimum standard.”
