"A really good hotel in the City Centre"
Near to bus and trains we were there for one night. We arrived quite late but the restaurant was open or you could have had the same menu in the bar. Breakfast was from 6.3o which also suited us as we had an early train to catch. Nice friendly staff, good security system to access the lifts and your room using your key card, self check in was easier than it looked. and we got a very good price for a hotel right in the city centre. I particularly liked the night light in the bathroom
"Basic Hotel with good location"
basic hotel, good location but hotel needs attention and more staff , you have to do everything from check in to putting out your own rubbish!!! they don't service room unless asked, the hairdryer didn't work for more than 15 seconds and asked 3 times for a new one , it never came so had to go out with wet hair into the rain
"Avoid"
The restaurant was nice and breakfast really good. I liked the decor of the restaurant. We booked a room with two single beds. The pillowcases were too small for the pillows and as a result of that the pillows were sticking out which was putting off. There was a lot of hair in the bathroom and also on the walls. The carpet looked dirty and worn down. City centre Location was good but not easy to find. The location description of the hotel is George Square, the hotel is located further away from George Square and the signage is not visible if you are coming from the side of the road so it was difficult to find it in the late dark evening when we arrived to the hotel. Looking at the room quality we definitely will not be staying there again. Avoid.
"Bad smell and no service"
Not much positive to say. My room (410) smelled bad, and it wasn't possible to air it out. My only option was to turn on an extremely noisy air conditioner or a noisy air vent in the bathroom. The first only circulated the air and the other didn’t do much. No housekeeping for the entirety of my stay (3 nights). The view from the room was to a parking garage. All in all, it was a very bad experience.
"Short visit"
Central location, within walking distance of shops etc, staff were all very friendly, room was clean and comfortable.
