"Colin is amazing!"
All the staff were great, but Colin was amazing at his job! He was professional, attentive and really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, he even ran (literally) out to the shop to buy pancakes for our son! Massive thank you, you made our stay extra special.
"typical experience"
Good air conditioning and window combination as it is usually one or the other. spacious room and comfy bed Really easy touch screen check in process. central location in the city. USBs located in convenient places. Breakfast was disappointing Usually this is the best part but at this location it was not up to scratch. No staff about to ask about filling up the breakfast items either. The TV in room was slow and unresponsive too.
"great experience"
Arrived early evening to find out we did not have a reservation for two rooms. This we discovered was our own mistake but the the staff were all amazing, very helpful and considerate, especially Lucy in reception and on the bar. They told us what the best deals with food and breakfast

The first impression was not great. We have booked Premier Inns several times in the past because they are generally very good for accessibility. Every one I have been to before, the front entrance has been level access. The image provided for the hotel (admittedly on my phone) did not make it obvious that there are several steps outside. I looked around for a ramp, then found an outdoor lift. My wife and I could fit in there with her wheelchair but not with our bags too, so I had to make two trips. It was a bit of a shock to still be getting soaked in the rain while in the lift, but presumably it is uncovered to deter people from attempting to sleep in it. The next surprise was discovering our room was on the sixth floor, an odd choice to place rooms for wheelchair users. On arrival in our room, it was obvious it had not been cleaned since the last occupant had checked out as there was a large stain on the bed from presumably a spilled drink. On the subject of cleaning, like a lot of hotels these days, Premier Inn now have a policy of only cleaning your room when you ask them to, even if you are staying for several nights. The same applies to towels. They are only replaced on request. Quite often the claim of saving the environment is given, when I think saving money is more likely the main driver. That said, given the initial problems, overall our stay was pleasant. Premier Inn beds are always extremely comfortable. The room had all the facilities needed. All the staff were lovely. While we didn't have breakfast every day, on the days we did it was fine. The drinks selection at the bar was fairly good. They also had a room for storing bags before and after check in, which is handy. Security is very tight, needing a key card to access not just the room, but also the lifts (for entry to the lift foyer and again in the lift itself) and even the lower ground floor toilets. This did at least have the benefit of making sure you always checked you had your keycard before you left the room. We did have one isolated, but annoying incident, where some drunken idiot thought it would be hilarious to set off the fire alarm in the middle of the night. All lifts were automatically locked on the ground floor, thus proving the folly of putting accessible rooms on the highest floor. There is one evacuation chair, but by the time I had read through all the instructions on how to use this, others who had already walked down to the ground floor before we had managed to get out of our room were already making their way back up, having determined it was a false alarm. Overall, as generally good value as any other Premier Inn, but, with plenty of other choices in the city centre, there are better options for those with mobility issues.
"Great central location for exploring the city"
Hotel is in a central location and is within easy walking distance of both Central and Queens Railway station and Buchanan Bus station. Rooms are clean and comfortable and have air conditioning, which was very welcome as it was hot when we were there. There is a bar and restaurant, which we used a few times. The prices were not unreasonable and the food was tasty. We didn’t book breakfast when we booked but this was not a problem as we could pay on the day if we wanted breakfast. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and set us up for the day. Would go back to this hotel again.
