"Disgraceful service from reception staff!"
Absolute joke! The evening staff on the night of 16th Aug were a disgrace. Went to room to find it was a double and not a twin. Went down to reception to explain that we specifically booked a twin and received confirmation. Showed them email confirmation and their attitude was stinking! Said they couldn't give us a twin as there was none. I stated that as to grown men in their 50s, we were not prepared to share a bed. Their answer? One of us could sleep on the floor. When I started getting irrate and challenged the staffs attitude they then said they were going to sort us a room but then said because of our attitude they decided not too. They never even attempted to find us a room in another Premier inn. We ended up sleeping in car at 01.30 in the morning. Fully refunded and letter of apology followed, proving our avoidable situation was unacceptable and the disgraceful behaviour of the staff. However, I feel we should have been compensated in some way considering how we were treated. Seriously. The young lad who was on that night needs to find another job because he is Definitely not fit for this one. As for the night manager. What a joke he was. Pathetic little specimen!
"August visit "
We had a lovely stay earlier this week. The room was amazing! Very spacious, light, and had all the necessities (coffee machine, iron with ironing board, mirrors everywhere! And most importantly, a super comfortable mattress!). The guy that checked us in was very nice and accommodating. The only negative was a guy that retrieved our luggage from a storage room who seemed fed up with his job; he kept making comments that would make customers feel like a burden (for example, after handing us our luggage and he noticed another couple waiting to collect their luggage, he commented 'oh, I guess I'll be staying here then'). Would still recommend staying here 100%.
"Great staff, great location"
Comfy beds, lovely staff, great location. We had the plus rooms, very clean and comfortable. The staff was quite friendly and helpful
"Central location stay in Glasgow "
We stayed at this Premier Inn while in Glasgow. As always Scottish staff were very helpful,, polite and charming. The room was clean, tidy and standard size. Location was quite central a bonus for a quite stall to the shops next day. with NCP parking right across the street. Breakfast was great.
"Won’t be back"
This place is so tired, needs a major refit. We were at the pipeband championships and came back to rowdy people at reception, no control from the staff. We got pizzas and a bottle of wine to take to our room, food was awful, no taste, looked like no effort had been made, and probably undercooked by the feel of the base.
