"Disappointing service"
For service this is the worst Premier Inn we have ever used. On arrival the girl at reception did not make eye contact and pointed vaguely towards machines for us to check in. We tried to check-in and it came up with error messages several times. We reported this to the person on reception who pointed towards a colleague who did help us out, even then there was an error message with the check-in. When we got to our room, neither of the key cards worked and my husband had to go back to reception and get new cards. This was an extremely frustrating late evening experience. The bedroom was of a very high standard and the best shower we've ever used in a Premier Inn. We had a warm and comfortable night’s sleep. Next morning at breakfast the first thing we noticed was the sticky floor of the bar restaurant, which clearly had not been cleaned since the night before. Breakfast itself was okay. But why, oh why is there no decaffeinated coffee available from the coffee machines so that a person who can’t drink caffeine is forced to rely on sachets of cheap, bitter decaf coffee. Once again service was mixed. On arrival at breakfast we were seen by a member of staff who, instead of showing us to a table, continued with her job of putting away glasses and then excused herself without showing us to a table. Then we were looked after an exceptional member of staff called Linda who showed us to our table and was most obliging and apologetic that there was no decaf coffee. In 2025 it is disappointing that the policy of Premier Inn is to continue out-dated dietary advice, applicable at the end of the last century and so the yoghurts are low-fat and no full milk is available for drinks. We frequently visit Glasgow but will not use this Premier Inn again.
"Disappointed"
Very disappointed. Short staffed. Paid £15 for early booking in. Should have been 11 o'clock. They did not have a room until 1 o'clock. Breakfast was warm. But i must say The staff were very nice and helpful. We have stayed in Premier Inn in other cities and they were brilliant.
"Air conditioning was broken"
Now I do have to say, the location is great, if your in a room on one of the top floors, you get a amazing view of central Glasgow. However despite this being a “premier plus” room, the air conditioning was broken and we had a uncomfortable sleep. reporting the issue to staff didn’t help, the hotel was fully booked and they didn’t have anyone to fix the air conditioning.Despite the air conditioning not working, it was still noisy despite it practically doing nothing, however I did like how they had a walk in shower rather than a bath-shower, I am always a fan of that, the tap also wasn’t a spray tap and you don’t see that often anymore. Breakfast was standard, I usually just have a blueberry muffin as that’s the best thing they have in my opinion. Overall if the air conditioning worked then it would be good, but sadly that’s not the case here.
"Fab hotel!"
I stay here once a year, every July, and the hotel is always excellent. The bathrooms have recently been updated and are much better now, with a waterfall shower and better lighting. The air con in the room was probably the most powerful and coolest I've experienced in a hotel. We had a nice view from the 6th floor, but I think there's 18 floors altogether so views are always good. The hotel was busy, but we didn't experience any noise or disturbance. The beds were comfy and black out curtains were a good idea. Breakfasts were good and the staff were friendly and efficient. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, and check in was easy as you can do it yourself if you want from their screens at reception. The location is great; right in the centre. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
"Disability Discrimination"
My disabled son and I were part of a group booking of 55 for the weekend. We were over for Scotish cultural pagent on Saturday 05/07/25. Through the actions of other Northern Irish guest and those not part of our group/ not even residents of the premier hotel group. At 07:00 am on Saturday morning our entire group was told to pack their bags and leave. The sectarian attitude of the manager against our group was clear to be seen. Her actions left my Autistic son in a state of melt down the remainder of the weekend. We had to book in to a travel lodge at our expense (after our group paying £9000:00 to Premier) I would advise anyone with disabilities to avoid these premises. I shall be taken up my sons plight with Disability Rights and my solicitor. Disgusted Carer.
