Glasgow (Cambuslang/M74, J2A) hotel

Stayed here for a few days. I can honestly say that the staff (especially Donya) were exceptional. Very warm, friendly and professional. Made my stay very comfortable.

Standard premier inn hotel, restaurant etc, the server working alone in the restaurant though was amazing, her name is Donya. I saw some guests were quite rude to her, i do not know why. She was working alone and very hard. Prem inn do need to put 2 servers on, can not fault her but one person can only physically do so much.

Great restaurant service and food here, very friendly with a good selection of food and drinks. Clean welcoming atmosphere - can highly recommend.

What a shame was totally let down but the uncomfortable heat in the room. The room temperature was 28 degrees yet it was only 18degrees and raining outside. When you’re a large family in one room it was absolutely unbearable. This was the temperature on our arrival as well ! Around 10pm we tried to call reception to see if there was anything we could do but in reality we couldn’t move with the babies already asleep so we stuck it out but we hardly slept ! The hotel is new revamped so everything is lovely and clean and fresh. The bed was really comfortable if we had actually been able to sleep in it ! We was also give. The room at the very very end of the hotel with 3 kids all under 3 and all our luggage and no lift this was a killer ! Although staff helped it, was really impractical. The restaurant was lovely food was good although nothing to sing and dance about it was hot and did the trick it was all very obviously just basic. Only 1 staff in a full booked hotel/ restaurant was ridiculous she was rushed off her feet ! She was very good even though she literally was serving drinks and hostesses and waitresses all in one. And I have no idea why but they only had 1 high chair in the whole restaurant which was already in use so we had to feed our twin babies in the pushchair. Absolutely ridiculous and really made our stay even harder work !! Overall don’t think I would choose this one and I’ve learned the hard way to ask for a low ground room

Great location for a motorway stop over. Friendly welcoming staff at reception and in the restaurant. Good sized car park.
