Short stay for business. Can't fault the hotel. Clean. Comfy bed. Everything you would expect. Lovely new restaurant near door as well.

"Duplicate key cards given to another guest."
Just been in my room for 15 minutes after checking in and another guest came wondering in after being issued the same room. No real explanation for the error from reception, they just issued a new room to the other guest... Just think about this, what if I was a woman or a child alone in the room or in the shower when a man just walks in.
I tried complaining through their on line platform but as the room was booked on a business account, they refuse to consider the complaint until I verify a number of detail that I don't have. Only our firms HR team have the specific account details. I left the complaint with them to manage internally. I explained that it's their business if they want to investigate the serious nature of the complaint and put in systems to prevent a repeat.

"Excellent cosy stay!"
We stayed in the prem plus room and it was really lush, clean and very comfortable.
The bed, bedding and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud! The staff were super helpful and friendly when I needed a phone charger, which was very kind. Lovely delicious breakfast and of course kids eat free!! Highly recommend!

"Ripped off and attempted to be charged extra for a night I didnt use."
I booked for two nights on the semi flex option I realise I would lose my money if I did not arrive. I emailed the hotel the day before I was due to say I would not be arriving for the first night (I had paid in full) but was still coming on the second night. Upon my arrival I was told I had to pay an extra £12 because I cancelled and I would be charged for the day rate for the one night but would not get reimbursed for the cancelled night, That meant it would have cost £161 for one night. A manager was called and explained why I had to pay the extra and I explained why I was not paying extra for one night unless I was reimbursed for the cancelled night which I still had to pay for, After an argument I was told that on this occasion they would waive the extra cost. Well it wont be just this occasion as I have called all future bookings for myself and my staff at any Premier Inn. I accept fully that I would lose the money for not arriving on the first night but to be then charged extra for the night I did stay is beyond a rip off. Premier Inns have just lost a very good customer.
