"Fantastic all round, happy family"
After a fun filled family day, we arrived a little later than expected. Upon arrival we were greeted by a welcoming, friendly member of staff and promptly got us checked in. Our family room was on the ground floor, newly upgraded and furnished to a high standard including the bathroom. This was a very welcomed sight and feel for us after a long day. Our youngest was over tired so we didn't venture to the restaurant, instead we ordered from the food venues literally accross the road. This was good for a family who all like different things! All slept amazingly well. Breakfast provided was full of options that suited us all! Friendly member of staff on shift. Value for money, we would definitely recommend.

"Good room, location ideal for attending swimming events"
Great large refurbished room. Breakfast not bad, fried egg surprisingly good. Bed very comfortable and shower good. Price high due to Commonwealth Games.

"Stay for dinner"
We were here with a group of friends and the service particularly from Donya and Jasmin at our evening meal was brilliant, especially being under pressure on a busy evening in the restaurant. All served with a smile and friendly service. Thank you.

"Generally good but for the evening meal, which was disappointing"
The staff were generally very good and the room and hotel in general were perfectly clean and well maintained.
The breakfast was good and free range eggs excellent.
The quality of the evening meal was poor. There was far too much chilli in the starter and the main courses, and it was not mentioned in the ingredients on the menu. We both found them unpleasant to eat, and my partner found the chilli on the edemame beans starter to be burningly painful afterwards. We mentioned it to one waitress that apologised briefly but didn't seem to take it seriously. We also mentioned it to the other waitress who seemed far more sincere in her apology and also said she would relay it to the chef.
The quality of the chicken also seemed very poor, watery and with no texture or flavour. That is a shame when you are clearly trying by using free range eggs.
Regarding the breakfast, the signage of alternative options was poor - we didn't realise until we were about to leave on our fourth morning that we could have had eg poached eggs or vegan sausages. It was a shame to only discover that when it was too late. Other guests may benefit from knowing this apparently applies to all Premier Inn hotels.
