      "Smelly and noisy."
District smell in my corridor but the other corridors where fine. Very much smelt of nicotice/stale, other!!! Continued into my room. Also very noisy mechanical noise coming through the vent in my bedroom from other rooms, I guess, had broken sleep from early hours onwards.
"Nice room (breakfast not so much)"
The room is spotless. Clean and spacious. Very neat and modern bathroom. The beds were comfy - we slept deep and well. Pillows, mattress and duvet all comfortable. Friendly staff. Poor breakfast - hopefully they will make it better in the future.
"apparently you need an AC in Scotland"
you don't expect scenery or quiet when booked in a hotel next to a motorway. I needed parking as getting to Glasgow with public transport wasn't my preferred option. If you are hungry and don't want to have food in the restaurant which is at the hotel (you need to pre-book, it's not walk in), you have Mcdonalds and KFC next door. Accessing the carpark is not for cars with low clearance and you better go dead slow. After navigating the flooding at the roundabout in the approach (after weeks of great weather we finally got rain) there is a bump if you want to go to Premier Inn or McDonalds, combined with potholes. Air was very humid, but nice temperature, until I went into my room. Window was "open" - thanks to Health&Safety even on ground level you can open it by max 3 inch - fan provided by the hotel was running (the fan was dirty, flakes of dust on it, huge flakes, quick hoover and a damp cloth before handing out the fans wouldn't go a miss and is quickly done!). Thermostat showing 23degrees celsius. And it was muggy. After a shower to get rid of the clammy feeling and using hairdryer it went up to 24degrees. Window closed for the night due to the traffic noise from motorway and being next to carpark. suddenly the telly switched on, I wasn't near the remote control, so up again, pulling the plug. Back to bed, all dark-ish thanks to the blackout curtains (needed in scottish summernight because it is not getting dark outside, the carpark lighting also not helping). The curtains though would have made open window useless anyway. I had switched the fan off, no fan going in the bath either but I still got hear one. There was a vent in the ceiling in front of the bath. Going all night. Mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, it was warm and the fanning noise from the vent. So not much sleep. Breakfast was booked via the deal. Toast, some pastries, packed cereals, tea, coffee and juice as buffet, the cooked part was made to order (for unlimited offer that makes it rather limited. Well, helps with the foodwaste I guess. the carpet in front of the juice bar was really sticky). I wanted an affordable hotel with parking for a short visit to Glasgow. This is what I got. It wasn't bad, but there is room for improvement. Not just renovations (you can see the years on this hotel), but give all room a good clean, not just hoovering the floor and wiping the surface up to hip height. From time to time, please hoover above head along the walls and wash the curtains! As like with the fan, dust flakes where stuck in the curtains!
      "Overnight stay "
Stopped at this premier inn as I was travelling tk the cup final. Great location to get into town. Even though this appears to be a bit older now, it still carries the same standards of other premier inns I have stayed in. Staff really nice and helpful. Good offer of breakfast as always aswell
      "great stay"
I made mistake with my bookings but Receptionist ewelina fixed it in few minutes. The price was cheaper than was previous. Room with triple window, very quiet Great food in the restaurant Perfect location free carpark, it could be bigger need aircon
