Glasgow (Cambuslang/M74, J2A) hotel

What a shame was totally let down but the uncomfortable heat in the room. The room temperature was 28 degrees yet it was only 18degrees and raining outside. When you’re a large family in one room it was absolutely unbearable. This was the temperature on our arrival as well ! Around 10pm we tried to call reception to see if there was anything we could do but in reality we couldn’t move with the babies already asleep so we stuck it out but we hardly slept ! The hotel is new revamped so everything is lovely and clean and fresh. The bed was really comfortable if we had actually been able to sleep in it ! We was also give. The room at the very very end of the hotel with 3 kids all under 3 and all our luggage and no lift this was a killer ! Although staff helped it, was really impractical. The restaurant was lovely food was good although nothing to sing and dance about it was hot and did the trick it was all very obviously just basic. Only 1 staff in a full booked hotel/ restaurant was ridiculous she was rushed off her feet ! She was very good even though she literally was serving drinks and hostesses and waitresses all in one. And I have no idea why but they only had 1 high chair in the whole restaurant which was already in use so we had to feed our twin babies in the pushchair. Absolutely ridiculous and really made our stay even harder work !! Overall don’t think I would choose this one and I’ve learned the hard way to ask for a low ground room

Great location for a motorway stop over. Friendly welcoming staff at reception and in the restaurant. Good sized car park.

We had an excellent stay. The room was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and a very comfortable bed. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was delicious food and the customer service excellent. I want to give a shout out to the girl work worked the restaurant floor. She worked very hard, was very attentive to everyones needs and pleasant and polite to all

Stayed for 2 nights in the Premier plus room. The room was very clean and tidy. I got slightly worried when I looked out the window and saw the motorway. However, when I sat down I couldn't hear anything so that worry quickly disappeared. I'm not going to comment on the because we all know the beds are amazing!!! The bathroom again was very clean and I was very impressed with the rainfall shower and the lighting. There was only 2 things I wished the room had. 1 - there was no drawers on either side of the bed and 2 - the tv only had normal channels. If thats all i queried I think thats pretty decent. We booked for breakfast and that was fantastic. We didn't book the meal deal but we did eat there and again it was amazing. Last but certainly not least was the staff. The staff we saw were so helpful and approachable. One member stuck out for me and that was a girl called madison. In my opinion, that girl deserves a pay rise. She was so nice and friendly and you could tell she works hard ( she never stopped ). Thank you madison for being so nice to us and thank you premier inn for making our stay wonderful. We will be staying here again.

Stayed for 5 nights and used as a base for a bit of sightseeing to Glasgow and the surrounding areas. You know what you are getting with Premier Inn. Great room and facilities but here particularly it's the staff. Kevin, Lynn & Jasmine were amazing. We joked that Kevin must have been an identical triplet as he was here there and everywhere. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and they were all full of ideas of places to go and see. 100% recommend this hotel. Close enough to central Glasgow but far enough out to be quieterand free parking
