"Premier Inn Glasgow – Where Your Booking Is Just a Suggestion"
We arrived with three bookings, several hundred pounds’ worth of optimism, and the naive belief that when you ring a hotel to extend a stay, they might actually… do that.
Spoiler: they don’t.
The extension I’d arranged by phone had been lovingly preserved as a completely separate booking, meaning I got to pay for it twice. When I raised this with the manager — fully expecting the kind of goodwill gesture that takes approximately 30 seconds to action — I was met with the hospitality equivalent of a shrug. Postpone it to another date? Absolutely not. Acknowledge it was their error? Not a chance.
As for the rooms, I’m still puzzling over how these qualify as “Premier Plus.” Premier Plus what, exactly? Premier Plus tired carpets? Premier Plus décor from 2003? It’s a bold claim.
On the bright side, we’ve now discovered exactly which Premier Inn in Glasgow we’ll never be staying in again — which is useful information for regular visitors like ourselves.
Would not recommend. Would not return. Would, however, suggest the manager attends a customer service course. Premier Plus ones are available, presumably.

"Short stay"
Short stay for business. Can't fault the hotel. Clean. Comfy bed. Everything you would expect. Lovely new restaurant near door as well.

"Duplicate key cards given to another guest."
Just been in my room for 15 minutes after checking in and another guest came wondering in after being issued the same room. No real explanation for the error from reception, they just issued a new room to the other guest... Just think about this, what if I was a woman or a child alone in the room or in the shower when a man just walks in.
I tried complaining through their on line platform but as the room was booked on a business account, they refuse to consider the complaint until I verify a number of detail that I don't have. Only our firms HR team have the specific account details. I left the complaint with them to manage internally. I explained that it's their business if they want to investigate the serious nature of the complaint and put in systems to prevent a repeat.

"Excellent cosy stay!"
We stayed in the prem plus room and it was really lush, clean and very comfortable.
The bed, bedding and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud! The staff were super helpful and friendly when I needed a phone charger, which was very kind. Lovely delicious breakfast and of course kids eat free!! Highly recommend!
