"Good location, good breakfast, stuffy room"
A good location for the start of the West Highland Way. About a 15 minute walk from Hillfoot station and 15 minutes to the start of the WHW. Good breakfast and friendly service. My room was basic but had everything I needed. It was just a bit stuffy and smelled of sweat when I arrived. It may need some updating/airing/air freshener. It was also quite hot but the fan that was provided helped.

"Tired Premier inn"
Very tired internally .
Staff were lovely and the breakfast chefs were great .
Didn't know you had to tell reception if you wanted your room cleaned . Apparently hanging please refresh rooms doesn't count . Which makes you wonder why it's on the door hanger .
Room was tired, one chair to sit in unless you also wanted to watch telly on the desk chair . Bit silly as there was more than ample space to put another in .
Skirting boards and walls really bashed. Corridor carpets didn't appear to have been hoovered when we were there .
Breakfast room is very small . I think we counted it could hold 39 people and it would be squashed if everyone was in at the sane time .
Nice location , but needs spruced up without a doubt .

"Death by a Thousand Cuts continues!"
Premier Inn Standards continue to slide.
It is so sad to see what was one of the Gems of UK Budget Hotels continue to decline. They have of course recently abandoned what was their USP by closing ALL their restaurants attached to their hotels!
The smaller replacement Breakfast Rooms, and the Restricted Menu Evening Meal offerings are also accompanied by the long established cut backs in maintenance and refurbishment aspects.
Death by a thousand cuts is in progress!
This individual hotel actually has a nice location and ample parking and the staff are great - but its decor is shabby and tired and on the occasion of my visit the lift was "Out of Order"!
The breakfast room is small and must be a nightmare at weekends.
At the time of my midweek visit the breakfast room was quiet but I still had to wait for Bacon to be available on the Buffet - even after I ordered and received my "cooked to order" Poached Eggs!
Such a shame!

Hotel description
Stay at the Premier Inn Hotel Glasgow Bearsden and you'll be in pole position for the walkers' favourite, the West Highland Way. But it's not all footpaths and countryside, in fact you're perfectly located for a spot of retail therapy in Glasgow and Edinburgh too.
Hotfoot it to Glasgow city centre for some great shopping or to catch some live music. Or stride out towards Ben Nevis on the West Highland Way. Stroll over to some fascinating days out like the Science Centre or the Riverside Museum, then put your feet up and enjoy some mouth-watering food, followed by a nice comfy bed.
