"Don’t look too closely and it’s alright"
Handy location for a cheap(ish) stay on outskirts of Glasgow. Lots of easy parking, costa & Starbucks nearby for morning coffee.
The hotel staff we encountered were very nice and friendly, of course it’s self check in now but there was a member of staff nearby checking that we were managing.
Hotel room was a bit smelly, didn’t feel very clean. We arrived late after a road closure so found the room acceptable for a sleep and early departure. But would have been disappointed if we were looking forward time in a clean and comfy hotel room, because it wasn’t that.
Hotel needs some investment but fine for an overnight.

"It was ok but would not visit again"
It was good because it was on route to our destination and local to lots of convenience stores such as Costa, Starbucks, Greggs, petrol etc. it was cheap and the staff were friendly and helpful. These are the best things I can say about it. The nicest way I can describe the building and rooms within is .. they are in need for some serious tlc.

Had lovely time here in premier inn. Would like too especially thank Charlene for her kindness as it was our first time in dumbarton she made our stay great. Her kindness and helpfulness was fantastic she made our stay. Breakfast here is fantastic very comfy rooms needs lil updating but on whole we loved it and will defo be back. From

"Won't be stopping at Premier Inns again!"
Although the beds are still comfortable, the new restaurant system is worse than a works canteen! Poor selection of food & drink, no atmosphere & not enjoyable in any way. My Premier Inn app has already been deleted off my phone! This particular site has no alternative eating options either.

"Reliable stopover hotel with great staff"
First of all the location and value for money is excellent. The highlight of the hotel is the staff for sure. This is a busy tourist stop over and with such a small dining area and bar they look rushed off their feet but they are so helpful and engaging and have it under control. The closure of the Beefeater next door hasn't helped as everyone looks to the in-house restaurant for food. The food review is mixed with a nice buffet breakfast but the evening meals are hit and miss. The rooms are fine for a premier inn. Would come back for the convenience and reliability.
