"Fab base for exploring"
Location was excellent just a very short drive to heaps of places. The rooms are a good size and clean. Staff are friendly and the food was great. Will go back again.

"Great team and great value"
We often use Premier Inn to stopover when on a long journey or as a base for a city break. The Dumbarton Premier Inn was everything we have come to expect - quiet, clean and really good value for money. What made this stay special was the staff - all we met were proactively helpful and really nice and friendly. Clearly a very well led team. Congratulations guys, very much appreciated.

"Above & Beyond"
Just want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to the staff at this hotel, especially Charlene & Ava for going above & beyond for our friend Craig. Craig was insane enough to do a solo charity bike ride 740 miles from John O’Groats to the grave of Mikey Roynon & had got absolutely drenched. These ladies not only washed & dried all his clothes for him but they put their tips together & paid for his evening meal! Just the extra boost he needed to continue on his mammoth challenge. That’s some proper Scottish hospitality at its finest. Thank you so much for looking after Bristols hero xx

"Don’t look too closely and it’s alright"
Handy location for a cheap(ish) stay on outskirts of Glasgow. Lots of easy parking, costa & Starbucks nearby for morning coffee.
The hotel staff we encountered were very nice and friendly, of course it’s self check in now but there was a member of staff nearby checking that we were managing.
Hotel room was a bit smelly, didn’t feel very clean. We arrived late after a road closure so found the room acceptable for a sleep and early departure. But would have been disappointed if we were looking forward time in a clean and comfy hotel room, because it wasn’t that.
Hotel needs some investment but fine for an overnight.

"It was ok but would not visit again"
It was good because it was on route to our destination and local to lots of convenience stores such as Costa, Starbucks, Greggs, petrol etc. it was cheap and the staff were friendly and helpful. These are the best things I can say about it. The nicest way I can describe the building and rooms within is .. they are in need for some serious tlc.

Hotel description
A bonnie town right on the Clyde, Dumbarton is the gateway to the Lowlands, and the Premier Inn Hotel Dumbarton is the place to stay. Whether you're enjoying the highlife at a wedding at nearby Cameron House, or you're simply breaking the journey on your way to the Highlands, there's plenty to see and do.
From walking round the banks of Loch Lomond, to browsing round the boutiques in the shore shopping centre, you'll find lots to tempt you. Traditional Scotland is much in evidence, with the Pipe Band Championships, or a hot toddy on offer at the Auchentoshan whisky distillery. Then it's time for a warm welcome at our restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed.
