"Dreadful hotel"
Dreadful hotel, dirty and very outdated. Room was dirty, steam marks up wall from kettle, water from shower leaked all over the floor. Hotel reception staff were terrible upon check in, couldn't find my booking despite saying my name twice then she eventually found my booking under the name I said some 10 minutes later.....?! Two members of staff became very rude when I queried why I had to tap my debit card twice to pay for my room (computer "played up" during first transaction), I showed them evidence of first transaction on my phone although it was "pending" however my bank account now shows that they have taken payment twice (dispute now raised with Premier Inn via my bank). Chap blatantly said "just contact your bank if you've paid twice", there was no empathy, concern or thorough check made about the £145.00 for one night stay that might possibly be made twice! On checking out I wasn't asked "was everything okay". They just didn't care, two receptionists on duty facing each other just chatting, didn't get up off their chairs to face me to ask if everything was okay or a "thank you for your stay, or have a lovely day ". Breakfast service staff were lovely, chap on duty that morning was so friendly, polite and chatty. Our server at dinner at the Beefeater was so lovely and friendly, food was great. Despite it's great location for Edinburgh I definitely will not be returning to this Premier Inn.

"One night stay"
Had a fabulous stay here. Rooms not the latest style however the rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. Kerry and her team made me feel very welcome. Would recommend.

"Short overnight stay after late night flight"
Brilliant location only a 10-15 minute drive to the airport ideal base.
Beds extremely comfortable as you would expect from any normal premier inn.
Easy check in process.

"Poor"
Good location close to airport. Stayed after late flight. Room downstairs was looking very dated but clean. The noise was horrendous from other guests upstairs. The creaking of floorboards and banging of room cleaning was not acceptable

"Welcoming stay, good location"
Stayed with the family to visit Edinburgh.
Hotel is only a 10 minute, if even that, drive to Livingston North train station. Which takes you right into Edinburgh Waverly.
Each team member I spoke with was lovely and one in particular had a great knowledge about Edinburgh.
Reccomended the Museum with the kids and they loved it.
Hotel was an older style. In need of investment as it was getting on a bit. Housekeeping team appear to work very hard as our room was spotless.
A little paint wouldnt go a miss however.
I would definetely reccomend.
Breakfast was in the Beefeater mext door. They are seperate though so will review them next (would also reccomend though)

Live it up in West Lothian with Premier Inn Hotel Livingston (M8, J3). Close to Livingston's buzzing town centre, you'll also be well placed for business and leisure destinations in Edinburgh and local attractions like Linlithglow Palace.
Spend the morning hunting for designer bargains at the MacArthur Glen Outlet. Whiz into Edinburgh for a spot of lunch. Take an afternoon stroll around eerie ruins or, if it's the right time of year, get a taste of the countryside at the Royal Highland Show.
