"Overall very good"
Excellent Premier inn. Room clean and fresh and the new endorsed mattresses are fabulous, very comfortable. Staff welcoming and friendly. Rooms were of ambient tempersture spotless bathroom and great shower.Coffee and tea replenishment freely available in reception. Parking 1st night great. Second night not so as arrived late back after a concert in Edinburgh and ended up parking on a grass verge away from hotel. Not great. Didn't eat there. Train station is a good 30 min walk away. Vending machines for snacks in reception area. Overall a good comfortable experience.
"Lovely stay!"
We had a really lovely stay at the Premier Inn Livingston (Bathgate). From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive, which made such a difference to our visit. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, just what you’d expect from a Premier Inn, but it was the staff that really stood out and made the experience special. The check-in was smooth, the team was always happy to help with any questions, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a great base for exploring the area, with good transport links nearby, and after a busy day out it was lovely to come back to such a relaxed and comfortable place. The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Overall, we had a very positive stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. A big thank you to the team for making our trip so enjoyable!
"What happened to Premier Inn?"
Check in is now automated so don't get there 15 minutes early because there's nobody to speak to The room wasn't cleaned mid stay - this is the only hotel chain I know that does this The sink plug was jammed in the sink, so the sink was out of action and there is nobody to speak to The fan in the bathroom does not work There is no iron in the room The much vaunted comfortable bed gave me a bad back Really under par for an expensive stay
"Lovely hotel with lovely staff"
Fantastic hotel, we stay here a lot when travelling up. The staff are so friendly and helpful, just like to mention the chef she is super friendly and welcoming just what you need in the morning!

The service at the hotel was great and the room was very clean and tidy staff were great and so was the breakfast and I slept well
