We're a short walk from Waverley rail station. hub by Premier Inn does not have a car park. We're so central we would encourage you to leave your car at home and arrive by public transport.

"Very poor"
Room tiny like a prison cell Air conditioning not working. We did not sleep well and had to check out before 9am as we couldn’t stand the heat any longer. Bathroom stank of mould. Carpet in room badly stained. Very expensive for what it was.
"An enjoyable stay."
All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean, shower was powerful and bed comfortable. The breakfast is limited but good value for £6. Edinburgh Waverley railway station is a 3 minute walk, and the city centre is just around the corner. I would be happy to stay at this hotel again if visiting Edinburgh in the future. For the people moaning about the noise of the air conditioning unit in the room, stop opening and closing the bathroom door during the night, that is what triggers it to start running!
"Disappointing Stay – No AC, Noisy Room, No Response from Hotel"
I stayed at Hub by Premier Inn on August 23, 2025 and was very disappointed. The AC in my room was not working, and despite reporting it twice to the night staff, the issue was never resolved. A fan was offered, but it was far too noisy to use. On top of that, there was continuous noise coming from the washroom area, making it impossible to sleep. The staff member on duty, Fernando, was polite and assured me that a refund request had been logged, but since then I have not received any response from the hotel despite multiple follow-ups by email. I paid a premium price expecting a comfortable and restful stay, but unfortunately, the experience was far from it. Even more disappointing is the lack of response to my complaint.
"Not impressed"
My first time using Premier and not impressed. Had issues with temperature controls (they had a mind of their own and kept changing or shutting everything off while we were in the room) and I have to notify if I want the room refreshed.. ok, but when I can't find someone and can't get ahold of anyone through the app or phone.. not good. Overall was NOT impressed with the experience and won't be staying at a Premier again.
"Not ok"
The hotel has a great staff and a good structure, but the AC in our rooms did not work at all, so my partner could not sleep the whole night as the room was too warm, after talking to reception, they said it would be fixed, which was not, after the second complaint, they said they didn’t have another room for us and they would offer a 25% refund, that didn’t got credit to my boyfriend account up to now, so they experience was not good in the end. Breakfast is ok and staff is really friendly
