Do not stay here.. Rocked up and needed to use the restroom, toilet door in reception did not lock, when asking if we could check in slightly earlier so we could use a toilet that had a lock, they said that would be £15. The air con does not stay on, this was not just us, there was always someone at reception complaining about the air con. The room was dirty, the glass in the bathroom had marks all over it (guessing from someone popping spots) The window in the bedroom did not open . The reception smelt horrendous - It smelt like stale dogs but it's not a pet friendly hotel so that's odd? Staff would not look at you when you asked a question. Overall - 1/5 and I'd like to see a refund personally

Over priced for a compact room, unfortunately the room was not cleaned to a good standard, dirty and stained carpet, stained duvet and stains on the chair, thick layer of dust on bathroom door hinges and a few other areas, no tea/coffee facilities in the room although they are free in the bar area. Staff were not very helpful or friendly.

Aside from the location which was great, the overall experience was disappointing. The room had noticeable stains on the carpet, the air conditioner made odd noises, and the TV remote didn’t work at all. There was also a power outage on the first night that delayed check-in by three hours, and there was no apology from the front desk, which was frustrating. I felt like I was a bother to the front desk staff and it was the worse customer service I experienced while in the UK. The noise level was fine, I was never disturbed by doors closing or other hotel guests. There's a small cafe area that offers breakfast and some food but I never bothered with it as there's so many places nearby. There's no in-room safe which is inconvenient for me as an international traveller. The hotel requires guests to request housekeeping before 11 a.m., but when I went to do that, no staff were available, and I wasn’t willing to wait around not knowing when someone might show up. In the end, it really feels like you’re just paying for the location rather than the overall experience. I would not recommend this hotel based on the poor customer service and substandard room quality.

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is perfectly located, only about a 10-minute walk from the train station, with many restaurants and major attractions nearby, which made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient. A special thank you to Angelica, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Her friendliness and attention truly made our experience much more enjoyable and memorable. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was impressively quiet — we had zero noise issues and slept perfectly every night. Overall, an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again.”

It's very basic check in was easy but at no point during our stay were we approached and asked if we needed anything or had anything explained to us for example I only knew the tea and coffee was free all day in the bar area because I overheard staff telling some one else. Even if you do self check in staff should still be available to explain the layout breakfast options etc I was very disappointed with this we were only spoken too when leaving as we dropped out key card in the box.
