"Did not sleep"
Won't stay in a hub again. They market these as cheaper but I still paid over £100 and for that I expect to be able to sleep. The aircon was noisy but didn't seem to cool the room. I turned it off but it turned back on in the middle of the night and was very loud so I couldn't sleep. Pillows were very uncomfortable and had holes in the pillowcases. The glass door to the bathroom kept banging. Self check-in machines were out of order so there was one person on reception and it seemed to take a long time to check one couple in, holding everyone else up. Not a good experience and I'm now off home to catch up on the sleep I should have had in this hotel.
"Excellent location, clean and comfortable room"
Location is excellent, room was clean and air conditioned. We had a larger room and it was significantly larger than we had expected. Bathroom was small but adequate, hot water plentiful and instantaneous. Tea and coffee facilities are available in restaurant/bar area, not the most convenient but good enough.
"Book Leonardo Next Door"
NOT SUITABLE FOR 2 PEOPLE The room although very clean the small possible Small Double Bed is against a wall, so making it awkward to get in and out, on a very high raised platform so get climbing boots ready.. Air con non excistant we had it on all night, but room was far too warm, aswell as clonking yourself on the wall..Book the Leonardo next door.. Shower warm but trickled out..Great for single people, but we are 2 fifty somethings far too cramped... Won't use a Hub again, sorry put weve always relied on good sleep from Premier Inn but not Hub..more like hut...
"Location great, room not so!"
Hotel staff very friendly and location was excellent but room wasn't the cleanest. Air conditioning didn't work in room 433 and there was a constant running of water going down a pipe or drain connected to room which kept us awake most of night.
"Fantastic Clean ,friendly hotel 🏨"
Stayed here 3 times due to it being a great hotel, very clean rooms, friendly staff and lovely breakfast as well as being right in the heart of Edinburgh with a 10 min stroll to Edinburgh Castle.
