"Great location, but woefully unpleasant hotel experience"
Uber was unable to find the Hotel location. Dropped us off 'close' which had no entrance on Princes street, and no instructions were to find the entrance in any booking correspondence. Mistakenly entered the Premier Inn, but was directed to the Hub's location 2 blocks over. From the time we got dropped off, until we got to the Hub Hotel, we walked around in the rain for more than an hour. When trying to self-check-in, the kiosk failed to issue room keys. We had to wait for a person to show up to sort it out, and get us a room and keys. Woefully small, not enough room for 2 adults and 2 carry-on suitcases. Unable to walk pass the other person without someone sitting on the bed. You have to crawl over your partner to get out of bed, if you're the first to wake. No room to do any kind of morning or evening stretches. We enjoyed Edinburgh, but it was a relief to leave so that we could be more comfortable when it was time to get off our feet at the end of the day.
"Great spot."
The Hub was a good spot to stay. Plenty of room for a single person the bed was comfy and the room clean and tidy, shower pressure was great. This location was great as there were plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants along Rose street and around to go somewhere nice for dinner. Easy walking distance to the Royal Mile, but public transport was close by too. The room was a little pricy for what it was but not to bad comparison to many other hotels in the area, plus you get the privacy rather than a hostel.
"A great experience"
A brilliant concept - stylish, minimalist but with everything you need. Great bed & pillows, powerful shower, wifi & TV. Great central location & efficient, friendly staff. I would highly recommend & I'll definitely look at these hotels for future stays.
"Excellent location"
We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is excellent on a busy walking street. There is really no front desk but a kiosk for self check in. I would advise not to check in exactly at 3pm as there is quiet a line for assistance. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
"Great location and very friendly."
Excellent central Edinburgh location. Great reception staff and a very comfy room. Good facilities and bar area. Very conveniently located for getting around Edinburgh on Rose Street and a great selection of bars and restaurants on Rose Street.
