"What a squeeze for two in their 70s!"
Be advised, the rooms are too tiny to accomodate 2 people comfortably.
The bathroom was not cleaned very well. Mildew on shower walls and corners.
Our travel tour operator booked this for us.

"Poor check in , loss of room time - otherwise nice rooms"
The incredibly disappointing experience my party and I endured when attempting to check in at your hub by Premier Inn Edinburgh Haymarket location on Sunday 14th June.
Our official check-in time was scheduled for 3:00 PM. Arriving shortly before 3:00 PM, we were shocked to find a chaotic queue stretching completely out of the hotel door and onto the street. The situation was entirely unorganized and poorly managed. Despite the obvious high volume of arriving guests, there was only one single member of staff working at the reception desk. This individual demonstrated a severe lack of efficiency and ability in assigning guests to their rooms, causing the line to move at a snail's pace.
We waited in this queue for over an hour. By 4:00 PM—an hour past the official check-in time—we were still nowhere near the front of the line and were unable to check in.
Because of this severe delay, we completely lost the afternoon time we had paid for in our room. More importantly, we were left with absolutely no time to unpack, freshen up, or change clothes to get properly ready for a hospitality event we had scheduled. Due to your staff's inability to manage the check-in process, we were forced to abandon the queue and leave the hotel in a rush, completely missing out on the afternoon comforts of our accommodation.
As a result of this major inconvenience, we were not able to officially check into our room until midnight upon our return from our event.
When guests book a hotel, they expect a basic level of competence and adequate staffing to handle peak check-in times. To leave one person to manage a queue that extends out the front door is completely unacceptable for a brand like Premier Inn.
I look forward to your prompt response outlining how you intend to compensate us for the lost time, stress, and poor service we experienced.
Kind regards,

"I won't be back"
The hub by Premier Inn has a good location close to the Haymarket. Yes, that is about it! The rest is nothing to write home about. You will be greeted by staff that can best be described as unenthusiastic. The room I got is not for those who are claustrophobic. It came with a window you cannot open. If you need to breathe while in your room, you are stuck with a breeze of col A/C air. Although I have no specific complaints regarding cleaning, there was a pervasive odour in the room that just would not leave. The breakfast was the least satisfying I have seen at any hotel. Yes, it was only 6 GBP, but even at that level it was a complete rip-off, and only offered options rich in sugar and fat. Do not get me started about the fruit salad, which clearly had seen better days. Given that the room was 169 GBP, my key take-away is that I will consider options next time I visit this majestic city.

"Great location"
The location was handy for haymarket train station and princes street.
The rooms were good basic but good they were clean and the showers were great and plenty of hot water. Was goog value for money for centre of edinburgh. Was very quite didnt hear any noise really at all.
The service at breakfast was amazing very attentive when dealing with a food alergy and nice to have genral conversation. Unfortunatly the service we got at checkin was very poor and was very frustraiting after a long travel day. A task that should have taken seconds took ages due to the reception person making mistakes.
Breakfast was very nice plenty of options.

"Two peaceful nights: zero noise."
I spent two nights at this hotel and can wholeheartedly recommend it. As a light sleeper who frequently struggles with insomnia, I was particularly impressed by how quiet it was. There was virtually no noise at all, and I enjoyed two wonderful nights of uninterrupted sleep.
The location is also very convenient. The hotel is just a five-minute walk from Haymarket Station, making it easy to travel anywhere in the city by train or bus. Edinburgh Castle is only about a 20-minute walk away, so you can easily explore the city centre on foot if you prefer.
The hotel offers complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, as well as a breakfast buffet for just £6. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The only thing I missed was a small refrigerator in the room. Having one would have made my stay perfect, but that's a minor detail compared to everything else the hotel does so well.
