I didn't like that the bedding was very worn, almost torn, and the room was extremely small, we had no space to move around in the room because of the furniture and the small bags we still had with us. The carpets in the hallways were dirty in places and worn out, and one of the elevators had problems closing and had a piece chipped off from one corner, it didn't seem very safe to me. The lighting system was silly, you could only turn on the light in the bathroom from the control panel by the bed, and there were no separate lights for the bathroom and the room.
"Amazing city. Great location. Really enjoyed our stay"
Amazing city. Just beautiful. Hotel is in great location. A short walk and your in the action. Plenty of restaurants, bistros and bars in the neighbourhood. Staff were friendly. Rooms were small but well designed. Beds were comfy and had a great nights sleep. Hotel is clean. Would definitely stay here again.
"Great place to stay"
Great hotel in great location for city sights and transport links. Lovely comfortable beds and well presented clean rooms. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
"First stay at a hub"
The room was small and very overpriced. The bathroom is a glass box with a gap at the side of the door which means you can hear everything and gives no privacy. If you want the room cleaning or new towels you have to physically go down to reception to ask, even though there is an option on the headboard to request your room cleaning. I did request the room to be cleaned and new towels and the person who took the request wrote the wrong room number down so it didn't get done. I had to go down to reception and get a bit annoyed before they agreed to come and do it. It wasn't done very well. On the upside, the room was very quiet and the hub is in a good position, close to everything.
"Great!"
Last visit in January but have stayed here a couple of times. Really easy checking in process, we’ve always ended up doing this with a staff member however they have screens for an easy experience. Very clean rooms, perfect for a short stay. No rooms have windows that can be opened, which is the only reason i’d say it’s best for a shorter stay as when warm/after a shower it can get a bit stuffy. It’s really perfect for what it is, comfortable bed, clean, tv, wardrobe space, large shower and light controls from the bed which is a very cool addition. Only tiny issue is not having a place to hang towels in the bathroom. (I can’t be sure if this is in every room). Staff have been consistently lovely whenever I have visited, and the bar area downstairs is also great, with complementary tea and coffee. One visit we did get a free upgrade and could check in early which was a lovely surprise and made our stay seamless. They have a storage room where you can put bags etc pre check in/post check out which is really helpful. Overall great place, very good location too, in the centre and really easy access to trams, buses and the train.
