"Amazing staff and fabulous hotel 🥰"
This hotel was perfect for us, we enjoyed being slightly out of the city and certainly saved on cost because of it. If you don’t enjoy walking the bus service in Edinburgh is excellent, there is a bus stop right outside this hotel. We stayed here for five nights, my husband and I in one room, I booked a bigger room for us and pleased that I did. My sister had one of the standard rooms and she was perfectly happy too. We both had great views from our seventh floor rooms. I did hear someone complaining about the size of the room, I don’t understand this, if you took the time to read the information on the website it is explained that these Hub inns have smaller rooms. Our experience from arrival to leaving was absolutely perfect. We had the continental breakfast on a couple of occasions, lots of choice and perfectly adequate to start your day. They were a little short staffed on one day, but the person running that shift was on top of everything and could not do enough for you, even taking the time to have a little bit of banter and a giggle with us, “SHEILA” you know who you are 😉 😉 We would not hesitate to book here the next time we visit Edinburgh. Just wonderful 👏👏👏👏👏
"Terrible bedroom at Premier Inn Hub"
Terrible room. Payed a good amount for the room for myself and wife, only to find the room was so small, the bed was only accessible from one side. Not sure it should have been sold as double occupancy, or if it was, there should have been a sub note to the booking.
"Tiny bed surrounded by 3 walls"
The bed was tiny (more a single than double) and had walls on 3 sides so was very hard to get out of in the night if you were on the wall side. There was a narrow ledge in the wall, not really wide rough to put a glass of water on without fear of it being knocked off. There was a ticking noise that went on all night. The photograph of the room didn’t really show how small the bed was. The room was cramped for two people, but clean and there was a useful storage space under the the bed, the staff were friendly and helpful.
"One extra night in Edinburgh"
We needed one extra night in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival and were lucky to find this hotel centrally located and close to the tram that takes you to the airport. It was OK - but tiny. Difficult getting in and out of bed considering I had to climb over my hubby to get out. The shower was not great as there was mold/mildew on the tiles. Breakfast, which was included, was just OK. For a one night stay, was acceptable, but would be very disappointed if we were there any longer.
"The worst and awful hotel"
The WORST hotel ever. I booked and paid for a standard room with a window, and when I arrived, I found they gave me a very small room without a window, with a dirty bathroom. I spoke with the receptionist about this situation, but they refused to solve it. Given they've already got the payment for the room, they don't care about your concerns or being uncomfortable in your stay. What an AWFUL hotel.
