"Clean room, friendly staff, convenient pulic transport links for exploring"
Used as a base for a couple of days exploring Edinburgh as was cheaper than the hotels in the city centre. Was actually glad to be staying away from the busy city. Room was lovely and clean, bed were comfy, hotel staff were really helpful with bus routes and directions Our room was really hot the first night and they didnt have any fans but the next day there was a fan in our room when we got back.feom a day out. Buses to the city toom a while (43) but we're easy and frequent. The 474 to the airport also left from.across the road and was frequent. Wr also went into south Queensferry itself on the 43 one day. Its a very cute little town and worth doing the boat tour under the bridges and you can get off at the island and see the abby. Staff in the restaurant next door also.couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. If we visit Edinburgh again I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again as a base.
"No air conditioning. Making it unbearable to sleep in."
We stayed for two nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Premier Inn is in a good spot, had an M&S and McDonald's just a couple minutes walk away. The Brewers Fayre attached served good food that was reasonable priced. We stayed in room 135. Upon entering the corridor, we immediately noticed the high temperature, which intensified upon entering our room. Despite a small window opening and a plug-in fan, the room's temperature resulted in two nights of very uncomfortable sleep. While the double bed was comfortable, the pillows were not and require replacement. The bathroom, was very nice. So probably the worst premier inn we've ever stayed in.
"Good value for money, just a bit warm"
Stayed after a late flight to Edinburgh airport. Check in was easy even at 3:30am! Room was big enough for 2 adults & 2 children. Only issue was the temperature-very warm with us all in it and only one fan to try and keep it cool.
"Affordable, Clean, and Convenient for Drivers"
I usually like to stay in Premier Inns when I travel throughout the UK. I can always rely on comfortable beds and good food. This hotel is a bit tired and could do with some revamping but the room was clean and the free parking was a bonus. It’s also convenient because there is a petrol station, M&S food to go, and a McDonalds beside the car park. I visited during August and left my car at Ingliston Park and ride (10 minutes drive) to take the tram into central Edinburgh. It took around 40 minutes. Would stay again.
"Worst place ever- certainly not "Premier""
As a family of two Adults and two teenagers, we stayed at this hotel in South Queensferry Edinburgh on Tuesday 29th July 2025 as a stopover accommodation as we were flying out of Edinburgh airport the following day on holiday. We arrived at 12.30 and went to our room, the carpet in our room was dirty and as housekeeping were in the hallway i asked if they could hoover our room, which they did briefly, i was appalled to see how dirty behind our bed was, picture attached. Our room was sitting at 28 degrees the room was very small for a family room. I said to housekeeping the heat in the room was awful, she said i will check for an additional fan. Never heard back so asked reception to be told there was only one fan per room, we felt sick all day with the heat, couldn't sleep AT ALL in the evening as there was no air conditioning in the rooms, we were departing for our airport flight at 4am and we where so tired and sick feeling due to the heat. This is very dangerous to children and adults health and especially worse when you have health conditions ,we were so let down. We spent our first days of our holidays recovering from such a horrid stay. This was the first and last time we will stay at the Premier inn, we thought premier in the name was that it was "premier" for a reason. I have attached picture of the thermostat when we arrived and even though the night it was still the same temperature, outside was cooler than the room. It is a very tired outdated, dirty Premier Inn. This was the first stay of our family holiday and we were so happy going on holiday and this totally ruined the first days of our holiday, as we were feeling sick and exhausted without sleep that we didn't get at the premier inn.
