Edinburgh Leith Waterfront hotel

Location is in Keith about 20 mins drive to city centre bus stop right outside runs every 10 mins so that’s handy. Car park charges £5 per 24 hours can do on arrival. Check in easy all done before we got there. Room location not great so far from reception a lone walk! Also no hot water in the evening phone reception who said it had been an issue for a number or guests and were trying to fix it. We couldn’t all get a shower until the morning not ideal when being out all day and with kids. Breakfast was fine choice of cooked., cereal fruit etc. hotel could do with a revamp looks outdated. Slept fine. Wouldn’t stay there again tho.

excellent Plus room, great view, great bed, only hotel we've been where we could not hear banging doors/voices up/down corridoors at night! Staff on desk cheerful and helpful [we did have problem with heating but were provided with extra heater within half hour ) excellent bus service( number 11) takes you into town right out side, also good for train station. very pleased with food as well, definately recommend, not sure why anyone would complain, we going back !

I stayed in the Leith Waterfront Premier Inn recently and was appalled by the way the staff at both the hotel and the head office operated Within 20 minutes, I identified an issue with the toilet door. This being the door would not close correctly leaving space for someone to see directly what some one was doing on the toilet. This was raised to the person behind the desk who did not offer an alternative room but assured me the issue would be resolve once I returned later that day. This was not completed and due to the lack of staff, there was no one else to raise this to on the desk. As you can imagine, neither myself or my new girlfriend felt easy using the facilities. This was then raised to the customer team as not only was it left unresolved for my stay but I highly expect it was left this way for the next guest too. The replied I received from the support team were utter shocking. I was essentially called a liar and informed no issue had ever been logged. No wonder the issue wasn't resolved if the staff can't log report correctly if at all. I requested a partial refund or vouchers towards my next stay for compensation as I felt this was fair. The company have now failed to even issue an honest apology and are adamant there is nothing wrong with the room.

Very disappointed with this inn We arrived and given our room after getting there we found it hadn't been cleaned . So we went all the way back to reception and they gave us another (fine ) On our way out i asked at reception if it would affect our meal package they said no. Tried to give us a small packet of fudge to apologise for the room fiasco. . When we went to the attached brewers fayre it hadn't been transfered and we were stood there for 10 minutes waiting till they apparently sorted it . Eventually we got to have our evening meal. In the morning we went down for breakfast a d thought we may have the same problem but no we DIDN'T even get asked what room we were in or anything . You could have just walked in off the street and had breakfast . Great start to our holiday

Bathroom door was broken on arrival. When raised at the desk we were assured this would be fixed but it wasn't. Room was booked for a 2 person stay but only set up for 1 person. Easy to put right but hindered what could have been a nice stay
