    "Generally good,"
Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was great - rooms adequate. Great view. Paid for premium WiFi, but couldn’t join for some reason, however they gave me a refund no problem,
"Say no to food!!! otherwise ok stay!"
DO NOT EAT HERE! THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE! They serve food at Brewers Fayre for breakfast, dinner and lunch but they are a) inadquetely staffed, b) Unwelcoming, c) Poor choice of food, d) poor poor service, e) They almost do not want you to come. Unfriendly. However, the staff at the reception in the hotel were decent if not top of the notch.
"Stuffy rooms, door lock failed, accessibility request not met"
It isn't cheap to stay here if you are a family of 5, as you need to book two rooms. Requested two rooms next to each other as per the website, and made this request well in advance. Had email confirmation and also confirmation when checking in these rooms were next to each other. The request made it clear this was due to a condition one of my children has which means both adults may need to be present at the same time quite quickly. I questioned this when we checked in and got given rooms 6 numbers apart and was told they were "next to each other". Long story short, obviously they weren't. They were opposite sides of the corridor, offset by several rooms. One of the rooms the door didn’t lock unless you slammed it really quite hard, the WiFi is an extra £5 a day unless you want it pretty slow and the rooms are very hot in the summer, even on a cloudy day we had 25° showing on the control panel. Not the best experience for the price paid (almost £1000 for three nights). Positives: kids loved the breakfast
"Nice Hotel, just not in the town of Leith"
1st off, this hotel is not in Leith, but Newhaven. The hotel itself is ok, rooms have been refurbished and still has a newness smell. Shame they still have baths fitted that are not easy to get in and out of for a shower. Breakfast was the usual Premier Inn fair, eggs, sausages, bacon, black pudding ect. Bacon was undercooked for my liking, but asking the lady behind the counter for some well done bacon, she took some pieces and had it fried on. Booked this hotel last year (07/24) to then be told 3 weeks before arriving that ''Parking charges'' now in operation as Whitbread had sold off the car park. Explaining that I had booked before the date of the transfer, so I was given a free pass to park.
    "Terrible, couldn't upload photo"
Terrible experience, hot water coming out of cold taps, then no hot water in sink. Debris left over the floor from maintenance worker. No towel change as requested.
