      "Premier inn Edinburgh east"
Hotel was below average for my usual Premier Inn experience still have not had my refund for the breakfasts that I paid for in advance. In my view the refund should have been paid on the days of the stay I should not have to wait complain or ask for it. You took my money quick enough. Staff were pleasant enough the hotel looked tired and in need of a refurbishment or a refresh
"Good stay with some areas for improvement. We would stay again."
Friendly staff, comfortable room, good shower. Bus stop into town was close by as was the convenience store and their fuel at a good price. The intermittent smell of cigarette smoke during our 3 day stay was not pleasant being non smokers. Room was fairly clean but some rubbish under the bed. Cooked ordered breakfast was good however buffet items were not restocked (fruit juice and water jugs were left empty). Otherwise it we had a good stay.
      "poor online booking system"
Wrong room given, despite me notifying the hotel prior to arrival, ended up sleeping on the floor for three nights, food in the restaurant was expensive for the small amount given. Menu was limited and I even found a large piece of blue plastic in my steak, only vegan option on the menu was not available and my friend wasn't particularly keen on eating the same thing for three nights
"Good overnight Stay not too far from Centre"
This is an older premier inn, but our room was clean and tidy and bed was very comfortable. I realise there is no air con in the rooms , which does make them overly warm but a fan was provided. The room we were in is at rear of hotel with no outlook just boilers and roof , The staff were helpful, especially at breakfast which was lovely and made to order.
      "Disruptive, restless nights."
I travelled with my two kids and the room setup was done perfectly. We could have fallen into bed immediately after our check in. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off around 7pm and my kids had to get out of their comfy beds to evacuate. Outside, none of the hotel staff was available or guided us to where the checkpoint would be. The various hotel guests stood around and the fire dept. eventually let us know we could go back in. None of the hotel staff directed us. In the morning there was a keg delivery directly under our bedroom window and this woke me up around 7:30am. The keg delivery was rather loud and this was not a great way to wake up. For the price we paid, I would have liked some peace and quiet. Additionally, the room has no fridge or ice bucket.
