"Could do better!!"
We stayed at the Premier Inn Edinburgh East for my partners 40th whilst visiting Edinburgh. Room was ok but small, corridors dark, carpets dirty, everything needed painting, very dated outside the rooms. Paid for breakfast for the following morning. Cooked breakfast was served luke warm, poached eggs were hard, generally food of low quality.Surroundings in the Beefeater were very dated, looked like hadn't had a makeover since the mid eighties.Staff were rude, no eye contact and looked like they didn't want to be there. Also started hoovering whilst guests were still eating? Luckily we spent very little time in the hotel except to sleep as were out experiencing Edinburgh and it's sights.

"Good room, good evening meal no cooked breakfast"
I had to find a reasonably priced room for the night at quite short notice because of a work commitment. I wanted somewhere that I could get a quick meal at night and a cooked breakfast in the morning. The room was comfortable and clean and I slept well. The evening meal was served promptly which was good as I was on a deadline for a meeting. I was informed on check-in that no cooked breakfast would be available in the morning. I was offered a continental breakfast which I didn't want and so was offered a refund on the pre-payment I had made. This refund has not been received nearly two weeks later.

"Poor customer service"
Very comfortable bed. Room quite shabby but what you would expect when going for a more budget option.
I was woken through the night and up early due to a heater that bleeped and clicked at regular intervals (in spite of being off). I had checked in after 11pm and was too tired to report it overnight. When I informed staff in the morning they were utterly disinterested and unapologetic. They made no note of my room number so I can only assume someone else had the same issue the next night.

"Not good, Lenny’s not stopped here"
Haven’t received our breakfast refund to date, property is tired and in need of a refurbishment, one room had a wet room which had flooded the bedroom carpets, from a previous visitor.

"Not good!"
Poor attitude of reception
Apparently our room wasn’t ready but we could pay an extra £15 for early check in!
Cleanliness of room was bad - cobwebs and dust all over walls and ceiling. Wouldn’t stay here again.
