    "A great option for Edinburgh"
Clean, quiet room. Very comfy bed. Easy to catch bus into the city. Car parking on-site was cheap and easy. Breakfast a bit disappointing with no hot options available. Recommend this hotel for an easy, cheaper option in Edinburgh.
    "Great Place To Stay!"
Hotel and staff were great! Staff were helpful and the room was very clean and just as advertised! Great location too and only about a 20-25 minute walk from all the popular attractions. The secure onsite parking was great to, only £15 for 24 hours, ( a staff member kindly let us have an additional day for free) . Ive heard people complain about the fact that the hotel charges for parking but believe me, £15 a day for parking in Edinburgh is cheap!
    "Dont go"
A total rip off. £178 for one night. A parking fee is charged. No food was included. Two teabags in room and I realise there is extra at reception but at this price I would have expected a bowl of fruit, water and biscuits. Scuff marks on wall and window sill, in the bathroom the ceiling paint was peeling. Shabby to say the least.
"Horrendous stay for a well established company"
From the start, the welcome was uninviting. Staff seemed moody and not bothered and were all young. The room was stuffy. No air con or ventilation in the bedroom or bathroom. The fan that was provided was dusty and didn’t work. The towels looked clean at first glance but on further inspection looked used!! The bed made me itch and the pillows smelt like vomit implying that the duvet covers and pillowcases were not cleaned. The toilet roll in the bathroom was the same quality you get in a public loo and bad quality. The breakfast was an absolute joke. Miserable staff that make you feel like you can’t order as much as you want. Breakfast was well below overwhelming with greasy eggs, undercooked hash browns and lipstick stained glasses!! On the second day, we came down to breakfast only to be told that the chef wasn’t coming in and had to demand a refund!! The whole experience was an embarrassment as I booked the hotel for my entire family. For the money we spent at £150 per night which is extortion, we were utterly disappointed and disgraced. I will never recommend this hotel even though the location was ok. The staff need training and the place needs a good clean. Some rooms are upgraded but even then the whole building is old and smelly
    "Good, but"
This hotel is absolutely fine! The staff are good, the beds are very comfortable and the location is great, still pretty central but also still quiet. Check in was quick, and cleaning was prompt and extra amenities were provided without fuss. The breakfast was great and we were given an extra hour of checkout time last minute! However, the room was a tad run down. The toilet paper was provided by a dispenser the wall dispenser by the sheet, which was odd. We had a broken toilet (while still functional!), and the sheets were stained. There was also spiders and cobwebs in multiple corners. The heat was also pretty intolerable, though we did go in July, but the fan was relatively useless. The restaurants food was hit and miss. Most of the food was nice, specifically the chicken burger and desserts, but I had the grilled chicken on my salad the first night and it was abysmal, like completely inedible. I still would 100% recommend this location, just not the best premier inn I’ve stayed in.
