      "Seriously disappointed and disgusted!"
Previous visit to this hotel was highly satisfactory. This visit APPALLING! Potential customers beware! • Lack of cleanliness - room and restaurant very dusty; dirty cutlery in bedroom, sticky tables in restaurant. • Inadequate supplies in room – only one small and one medium towel between 2 of us; supplies of milk and coffee insufficient; no air freshener in bathroom or cup for when cleaning teeth • No room service between days 1 and 2 – towels not changed as we requested and milk/coffee supplies not replenished. • Faulty shower, making it impossible to adjust temperature. • Restaurant service VERY slow – hot food was cold and unappetising on arrival. Problems exacerbated by staff shortage – only two staff, very pleasant and helpful but clearly insufficient to cope with the demands put on them.
      "Good location"
Great location. Friendly check in service. Room was ok. Bed was not comfortable but was big enough. The making up of the bed needs attention. TV worked and also the Wifi. Breakfast was appalling.
"Clean, comfy and close to transport"
Really nice, clean hotel. Perfect location close to Edinburgh station, the Princes Street tram stop and Scot Memorial. The bed is comfy and the shower hot with excellent water pressure. Found it a bit odd they only clean rooms on request, but we only stayed for a few nights so it didn’t bother us. Would recommend this hotel to other travellers and would stay here again on my next visit to Edinburgh.
"Been to far better Premier inns"
plus points, accessiable room good. Wouldn't recommend evening meals ,over cooked ends of fish burnt!! Great location. Not many staff about, girl who was looking after bar on the 25th was in reception on her phone!! had problem putting it down while pouring my wine. Manager not acknowledging his guests just walks by them. Not a friendly hotel, staff seemed to do what they had to do without a smile.
"Outstanding Staff and Service at Premier Inn Edinburgh, The Perfect Place for School Groups!"
I stayed here with a School Group last week. When we arrived, we found out there was an issue between the hotel and our travel agency that we booked through. However, the issue was solved extremely quickly and the staff at the hotel were nothing but helpful and caring. I could not recommend the team that works at this hotel. I have to give proper thanks to the following hotel staff: Beth, Mya, Andy, Gianluca, and Helen were extremely helpful with fixing the issues. They were also extremely caring with the students, as well as always being a welcoming face each day. I have to give big props to Beth, Gianluca, and Mya for the first day we arrived and discovered the problem, as they jumped right on trying to fix it. The chefs, Krzysztof and Ethan made the most amazing foods, and followed the dietary restrictions we had for a few of our students. They always made sure the correct dinners went to the correct students. I would highly recommend the this Premier Inn in Edinburgh.
