    "Ideal for a short break"
Nothing wrong with this place, great location, room clean and comfortable, friendly staff. The cleaners don’t come in your room, unless you ask. We needed bins emptied and toilet paper and a fresh towel, we asked the nice young man who was cleaning and he did it straight away. All you need to do is speak up. Breakfast was nice, good choice and as much as you want. Tea, coffee, milk for your room available near reception to get when you want. Perfect for a short break and would stay again.👍
    "Nice place, great staff"
I eat breakfast here sometimes 3 times a week. Staff are brilliant, my man John has the till ready to go when I walk in. All Staff are friendly and helpful. If you see a bad review from this place then they must be hard to please hahaha. Will continue to eat here and premier inn is usually my choice when booking a night anywhere.
    "A Little Disappointed"
The Hotel is situated in a back passage parallel with the main Princes Street thoroughfare. It is situated amongst the eateries and hostelries in the City Centre. The room was comfortable and clean, and adequate for a 2 night stay but not for a more extended stay, due to the lack of clothing storage and space. Breakfast was ok, of the buffet style, so had to gauge when to go to the servery to ensure a freshly cooked offering. Dinner was ordered and served from the menu. They do offer a meal deal for £26.99. There is a self check in on arrival although reception is also available. Maybe on our next visit a more suitable’longer stay’ hotel will be considered.
    "Wouldn’t go back"
The location of the hotel is excellent and we had a great view of the old town from our room. Sadly, everything else was poor. The hotel and room were very dusty. The windows are locked shut. The shower curtain had brown water marks on it and didn’t reach around the bath. There werent enough towels. The hair and body wash had been watered down and ran out. Only soya milk was provided as a dairy alternative and I was just handed a half full carton and told to bring it back when I had used what I needed. The desk lamp didn’t work and neither did one of the usb ports. Two members of staff were arguing loudly in the corridor one morning. There wasn’t any where pleasant to sit in the evening. This is a very basic hotel and I wouldn’t go back.
"Good value for a bare bones experience."
PROS: Premier Inn provides a comfortable bed in a secure building, at a competitive rate that makes it worth it to put up with a few inconveniences. This location is very convenient to Waverley Station and Princes Street Garden. Buses and trams are easily accessible. CONS: Check in is self serve at a kiosk in the lobby. The machine was able to take our payment, but didn't provide our keys, and it took some time to find a human to help us. The furnishings are minimal there wasn't even a luggage rack. No one like to put their luggage on the floor. The hotel does not provide daily housekeeping, which is fine, but the tiny trash can cannot hold enough for a four night stay. I had to take it to the lobby and empty it myself. Maybe the hotel could provide an extra trash bag which could be placed in the hall?
