There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available at Waverley Station Car Park (Sat Nav: EH8 8BH) just a 2-minute walk from our hotel. Please remember to present your ticket to reception for your ticket to be validated with a 20% discount, £17 for 24 hours. There is a height restriction of 1.9m. Blue badge holders can park on street at the hotel free of charge. Alternative on street parking is also available and charges apply from 8:30am - 6:30pm Monday – Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm - 6:30pm.

"On the Royal mile, but the service could do with a smile!"
The hotel is in an excellent location, in close proximity to Waverley station and many local bars, coffee shops, restaurants and sites of interest. We had a premier plus room, the layout is good, use of a fridge and having an iron and ironing board is a benefit. The bed was clean and comfortable. However, the carpet looked and smelled like it needed a very deep clean. The bin is not emptied daily unless you ask for your room to be cleaned. When fresh, the cooked breakfast is worth the price.
"As you'd expect but not great value"
Mostly as you'd expect - though being August in Edinburgh, it was painfully expensive. No big issues, but - especially noting the context of how pricey the room was - it felt pretty stingy that they used cheap, rough loo roll and didn't have any face tissues in the room.
"Never ever again"
The fact that you can't open the window in the room is an imposition! It stank in the room and there was mold in the bathroom When we asked the receptionist to come into our room he came with a room spray and just said that it smelt like that everywhere in the hotel, that was normal. The prices during the Tattoo/Fringe Festival are astronomically high but something like this is a cheek. It is clear to me that I will never book a Premier Inn again.
"Fantastic Stay"
Just back from staying here , location is fab, a few hundred yards from Waverley Railway Station and very clean, we had the accessible room as was the only one left when our break was booked and it was a good size especially if it was needed for a wheelchair user , beds very comfortable, we asked if could be 2 singles rather than a double and request was met with no problem, staff we encountered were very pleasant and were always met with a huge smile from reception staff and also by the young chef who always had a little chat with me and my sister-in-law , premier hotels are lucky to have such nice people working for them, food was absolutely delicious, only had the breakfast but so tasty and one of the best I have had from a hotel. Left our luggage on day of departure in their spare suitcase area which was great as no need to pull them around shopping for a few hours till we were on our way home, Thank you Edinburgh for making us feel very welcome and look forward to a return visit to this fantastic hotel 😀
"A Pleasant Stay"
Clean and quiet rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Check was slow due to a long queue. Lack of wall/door hooks in the bathroom.
