Edinburgh City Centre (Princes Street) hotel

Overall very disappointing That i had to book another room my flight was cancelled before I travel Contacted the hotel to try and resolve the issue Ended up getting another room that was more expensive It all about money

Excellent location, really good for most attractions and those further out, great access to public transport. A slight walk to the station but doable. The castle view rooms are great but be prepared for traffic noise early and late. Cleanliness of the room was ok but very dusty under the bed and in corners. The pub for breakfast is nice but not many GF options if you need that.

Great location, nice clean hotel. Shocked bar closes at 10pm! Never have I stayed in a hotel where the bar closes at 10pm. We came back from a show to sit for a nightcap but no closed! Also the bath for the bath/shower Combo it is way to high plus the bath surface way to slippery we all struggled in our rooms with the bath 🤣

Had a great stay we had a premier plus room with castle view room was great we were there for our 40th anniversary complimentary prosecco and chocs in room for us great staff complimentary breakfast was also included went for dinner in their restaurant food amazing again more chocs and prosecco felt spoilt we had room 111 definitely worth a bit extra

AVOID THIS HOTEL!!! I'm a customer of Premier Inn for over 20 years, and I have never had to complain before. We stayed for 4 nights (9th to 13th April 2026), we booked this as it was a very special 30th Birthday Present for my partner and myself to visit Edinburgh, so we splashed out on a Premier Plus Room cost us nearly £800 (with breakfast). The room was dirty from day one, and not cleaned for the whole duration of our stay, the room genuinely felt like it hadn't been deep cleaned for a very long time with dust on top of everything, bleach stains on many parts of the carpet, dirty bathroom, filthy mirrors, throughout the room dirt and damage could be found everywhere, including broken, damaged and dislodged ceiling tiles in the room itself, the air-conditioning wasn't working properly and as it was the only heating it resulted in the room being frezzing cold most of the time. The breakfast was ok at best and staff weren't all that friendly, nver once making the effort to speak to us or make us feel more welcome. Upon checking out, due to rushing and my disabilities, I accidentally left behind one of the my partners 30th birthday presents in the room, his favourite vodka Smirnoff Blue Label, I immediately called the hotel less than 2 hours after checking out which was when I realised we didn't have the item. It took 3 phone calls to the hotel, only to eventually learn that the housekeeping staff had taken it home with them and not handed it in to lost and found property. This event just adds insult to injury, making it a whole lot worse and really leaving us very disappointed with every aspect of our stay. I can honestly say that Premier Inn has lost a customer. Please don't stay at this hotel, and if you can avoid Premier Inns in general as I will be doing from now on!
