"Calm away from City, great experience for solo traveller."
clean and friendly place just a short train ride from the city of Edinburgh. Next door at the Cuddie Brae food and drink are available.
This was a great experience for a solo traveller. I felt very at home here. There is a big shopping complex just 5 mins walk away called Fort Kinnaird.
The rooms a little tired decor wise, but very warm and comfortable with all you need. Great shower, hairdryer and hanging space for clothes.

"Beware parking fines"
The hotel itself was excellent, but the car parking firm sent a parking fine for both nights I was there and so I have been forced to appeal my fines even though I had entered my registration in the hotel system.

"Great value."
Very friendly staff, polite and efficient. My room was clean and quiet, bed was super comfy. Can't grumble for the money I paid.

"Nice enough. Limited housekeeping, patchy WiFi, broken shower."
Good bed, check in, TV, breakfast.
Bed wasn't changed after 2 days despite asking for it to be done.in the end I asked for sheet and pillow case and did it myself! Shower head was broken and sprayed water all over bathroom, running some items in my toilet bag. WiFi was patchy.

Hotel description
With world-class golf courses just up the road, plus the excitement of Edinburgh just a pitch and putt away, our south-east Edinburgh hotel is a great place to stay. Not least because the hotel features our new generation bedrooms, with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly- updated bathroom with large shower bed, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size bed.
If you're here for the shopping, there's a huge range of stores within walking distance, at Fort Kinnard Retail Park. If you'd rather relax, then Musselburgh is a lovely sleepy fishing village. As for the partying, all the buzz and excitement of Edinburgh is within easy reach, including some iconic landmarks.
