"Very happy"
Nice room. Polite staff. Free parking and best price. Thank you. The staff was friendly and agreed to let my car to stay in parking space even after I checked out.

"Not fit to occupy"
Arrived early and left our bags at reception. Returned around 6:00pm and checked in. When we opened the door to the room the dank smell was immediately obvious. Window has a safety lock so has limited operability. On inspection there was black mould growing on all sides of the window surround as well as on curtain edges. Down to reception which resulted in us being moved to another room. Exact same issues. We found, very belatedly, alternative accommodation and cancelled due to the fact that the either room was not fit to occupy. Overall condition of establishment is old and very tired and in desperate need of high level refurbishment. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

"Big Disappointment"
We use Premier Inn hotels based on our good experiences over many years in various locations. For the first time we were disappointed especially compared to our recent stays at their hotels in Ashford, Evesham and Gloucester.
We should have been wary on arrival and saw greenary growing out of the rainwater gutters - a sign of poor maintenance.
The room was very tired and in need of refurbishment and the bathroom had obviously had water damage recently - the damp had dried but no making good had been done to the walls, floor and bath panel.
On arrival we advised reception that we were happy to have no room cleaning but we needed clean towels each day - didn't happen so we trooped to reception daily to obtain them. On the positive time Robert, who manned reception in the evening, acted quickly and pleasantly to rectify the situation.
The final morning summed up our stay. The bathroom basin was blocked and the lift was out of order - difficult for two in their late 70s to navigate the stairs from the second floor with all our luggage. No-one in reception to tell about the sink so we thankfully escaped.
We will definitely visit Edinburgh again but we will not be staying at this hotel.

"Filthy"
Filthy room with what looked like mouse poo. Contacted customer services who were useless. No one on reception to complain

"Average Premier Inn"
Stayed here last week for the first time. Plenty of parking and quick check in. Room was clean and tidy if not a little dated. Quite a bit of noise during the night due to the nearby train track. Decent restaurant next door. An average stay.

Hotel description
With world-class golf courses just up the road, plus the excitement of Edinburgh just a pitch and putt away, our south-east Edinburgh hotel is a great place to stay. Not least because the hotel features our new generation bedrooms, with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly- updated bathroom with large shower bed, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size bed.
If you're here for the shopping, there's a huge range of stores within walking distance, at Fort Kinnard Retail Park. If you'd rather relax, then Musselburgh is a lovely sleepy fishing village. As for the partying, all the buzz and excitement of Edinburgh is within easy reach, including some iconic landmarks.
