    "Great Location for Edinburgh Travel"
Premier Inn Newcraighall is a great place to stay if you are visiting Edinburgh. It may seem far from the city centre, but the Newcraighall train station across the street will get you downtown in 15 minutes for about $7 USD round trip. Shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants are close by, and the Cuddie Brae is connected to the hotel. The hotel staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
    "Amazing"
This Premier Inn is by far the best one we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond and were so kind. I would like to give a special mention in particular to two members of staff. Firstly, Lisa the chef; she is simply amazing and so easy to talk to. Secondly, Mikayla, she was so warm and bubbly and put us at ease from the moment we walked in.
"Ideal base for travelling into Edinburgh centre and lovely staff."
We enjoyed a one night stay at this premier inn as we were attending a wedding in Edinburgh. This is an ideal place to stay if you are planning a trip into Edinburgh, it’s walking distance from the train and is certainly very reasonable priced compared to those hotels in the centre of Edinburgh. The room we stayed in was spacious and ideal for our stay, did notice it could do with a freshen up but that did not affect our stay. Staff were all lovely. The buffet breakfast was very good and plenty of choice, our only criticism would be that the breakfast room is quite small. The lady who was working on her own was absolutely lovely and did a great job seeing to all guests, very professional and friendly, We would definitely recommend this premier inn and would return.
"Clean room , very comfy bed and friendly receptionists"
Have just a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming and so helpful in ringing around to find us a taxi on a busy evening. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy with the fabulous pillows. The room was a little tired in a couple places e.g. lick of paint needed in bathroom and couple of small holes in curtain. Breakfast was fine . I loved my poached eggs. Just couple of small things such as there was no decaf drink option. As my partner cannot have caffiene this was an issue. Also the breakfast room was a little cramped. As there were only three of us it was not a problem but maybe more of an issue if a group of you wanted to eat together. I would also recommend that you pop into the adjoining pub the Cuddie Brae. We had couple of drinks in there. Proper pub atmosphere and a very friendly host.
    "Stay somewhere else!"
The poorest Premier Inn we've stayed in. We had room 203 and while the bedroom was ok if in need of a bit of decor, the bathroom was disgraceful, with badly broken and worn skirting board all round, but missing tiles around the bath revealing the cavity wall behind where you could see right into the wall. The hole in the wall was filthy. In addition, we found someone's used finger plaster on the floor. The corridor outside the room (on second floor) was very noisy when walked on (probably loose floorboards) which disturbed sleep. There is no restaurant, but a pub next door. The hotel breakfast room is very small and cramped and we saw people being turned away at breakfast. On our first day the food was dreadfully undercooked and virtually inedible. Second day was much better with a different cook but on both days stocks and dishes were not replenished and some people actually had to go into the kitchen area to get dishes. Good point was that most staff members were really friendly and helpful (and are aware of the issues!) but one girl at breakfast was downright unfriendly. There are plenty of other Premier Inns in Edinburgh - don't use this one, Lenny Henry wouldn't.
