"Convenient and comfortable, a bit tired"
Easy parking with good accessibility to park and ride, and retail park just up the road too. Room was clean and spacious, bed excellent and felt clean. Bathroom was very tired. Felt very overpriced, but price probably reflects demand (festival and marathon events). Was fine for a night. A bit of noise from guests at the adjoined cuddie brae pub.
    "Great service close to Edinburgh"
Great location for visiting Edinburgh. With free parking. Train station across the road. Two stops to Edinburgh. Very helpful staff. Evening meal in pub next door that also had good food. Friendly helpful service. No complaints. Would highly recommend.
"Great experience, nothing to complain about."
Absolutely no complaints at all, from the momentwe walked in to the moment we left nothing was too much of a problem, all staff were great and our rooms and food were nothing to complain about. All in all I have nothing to complain about.
    "Worst Premier Inn."
This hotel is the worst Premier Inn I have stayed at. It is seriously in need of a makeover. There were stains on the carpet in the room, stains on the headboard and rust on the lamp. The staff also need some training in customer service. We arrived about 20 mins before the official check in time of 3pm. We were told the rooms were ready but it would cost an extra 15 pounds per room to check in early. As we were heading into Edinburgh for the day we declined and instead put our ten pieces of luggage into reception. This clearly angered the staff who did it coldly and with bad grace. In our two weeks travelling around England and Scotland including other Premier Inns this was the only hotel that was so inflexible and lacking in customer service. The only staff member who was warm and welcoming was the older lady in the breakfast room. The breakfast room was tiny, cramped and crowded but she was a ray of sunshine. We stayed regularly in Premier Inns for business and leisure but this one really lets the brand down.
    "Fabulous staff made our stay"
I have stayed at many Premier Inns - you generally know what you’re getting! The staff made all the difference at this hotel. They were welcoming, attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and the breakfast staff were great. Will definitely return.
