"Don’t stay here"
Let’s start with the good points, the kitchen and front desk staff were great and very helpful. But unfortunately the whole stay was let down by the noise made by the floor both in the hallway and in the room which was so loud it wasn’t even funny!! Any time someone in the room either side or above us walked anywhere it made such noise it was impossible to sleep.
We had 2 rooms and the issue was the same in both rooms.
Also the bathroom had tiles missing and the bath panel was hanging off.
I would highly recommend not staying here.

"Excellent!"
The hotel was very nice, the bedroom was clean and comfortable. The position is perfect because it's just outside the city, so it's not too busy, but you can easily reach the city centre by bus or by train. We had a great experience.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2026 and we enjoyed our experience. The location was close to a large outlet shopping center with many food options but the on-site restaurant Cuddie Brae has great food as well. The train station is steps away and a short ride to city center. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The rooms are very quiet as well. We would recommend that you consider this hotel.

Just had breakfast here and felt we needed to write a review for Lisa who looked after the breakfast room.
We've stayed in a lot of Premier Inns and Lisa is by far the friendliest member of staff we've ever come across.
She was welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us!
Please give her a pay rise!

Hotel description
With world-class golf courses just up the road, plus the excitement of Edinburgh just a pitch and putt away, our south-east Edinburgh hotel is a great place to stay. Not least because the hotel features our new generation bedrooms, with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly- updated bathroom with large shower bed, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size bed.
If you're here for the shopping, there's a huge range of stores within walking distance, at Fort Kinnard Retail Park. If you'd rather relax, then Musselburgh is a lovely sleepy fishing village. As for the partying, all the buzz and excitement of Edinburgh is within easy reach, including some iconic landmarks.
