"Shocking …"
The staff here need to understand that the paying customer comes first not their perception of how a hotel should run .. focus more on cleaning tables and collecting rubbish as opposed to sitting about chatting about pay and conditions, the breakfast servings are chaos, not enough staff for guests creating dirty tables, lack of cups and plates, poorly cooked hot food such as almost raw bacon, make sure you book for evening meal days in advance as if you are not on the list you are not getting in .. chef ‘I say that in title not capability’ can’t cope apparently not my problem as a guest more a miss management staffing issue yet the guest suffers every time … stay away plenty of other better hotel around the area ..
"Worst Premier Inn."
Booking reference; BAL0382225 Case reference; WHB-2762453-M6C4   Check in; 10/08/2025 - 11/08/2025 Hayley Scott hayleyscott1994_0x@hotmail.co.uk 07496692937 I would kindly like a refund for the stay 10/08/2025 - 11/08/2025. My sister and I didn’t have the best experience in this facility. Firstly, the vending machine took my sister’s money and didn’t give out the drink. I appreciate that it is a separate company however this is not acceptable regardless. Secondly, our room was right next to the corridor door and someone had removed it from the latch during the night and we kept getting woken up by the door opening and closing, not to mention the noise of other customers walking past too. It got to the point where at 5am I had to put the latch back onto the door. I had been travelling 14 hours via coach from Milton Keynes to Inverness and didn’t appreciate getting woken up numerous of times. Thirdly, there was mould along the bath which was off putting to shower in and the toilet seat wasn’t secure which lead to nearly falling off of it when sitting down. Not to mention hearing the cleaners walking past swearing under their breath that it was raining, to me that is very unprofessional. For a well known company, we feel let down and left unimpressed by our stay. There wasn’t a staff member available at the desk when we had checked out so unfortunately we were unable to relay our issues to them.
"Is customer satisfaction or quality control not a thing anymore?"
I had a booking made a while back which I could not make. I changed the booking date and added a second night as I could not cancel. The overall hotel experience was ok but the bar/restaurant experience was from Train Spotting! I went to use the mens toilet which was closest (I'm a man) and it was just a single cubicle. Upon entering, the waft of pish would almost floor you. I'm not small so stood my ground and had my pee. A few more pints and I'm bursting again. The seal has been cracked! I've remembered the stench from the first toilet so I head to what I'm think is the real mans bog! A vast row of urinals with a bit of heavy metal played through the wall speakers? NAW! The other gents toilet at the other end is a disabled toilet. I'm in now ready to empty my bladder and there's this big jobby that the last guy couldn't flush, stairing at me! Only a chainsaw could have dealt with that log! Ended up going up to my room for a pish! TRAUMATISED
"Comfortably the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed at..."
Comfortably the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed at. Public areas were filthy, with dirt all over the corridors and stairwells. Doesn't look as though it's been hoovered for weeks. There was dirt in the room with the beds barely made and towels shoved on the holders. WiFi is non existent unless you pay for the Ultimate option. Usually if a hotel is full, you will be told at check in to reserve a table for dinner. I wasn't told this on check in and when I went down for dinner, was told the restaurant was full. I asked if there were any other options in the local area - maybe try JustEat was the response I got. Extremely disappointing when they're charging £199 per night, ripping off tourists and business travellers without caring about the state of their hotel and not what I've come to expect from a Premier Inn.
"Overall good value and great view"
After reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive however the staff are lovely and rooms very clean and comfortable. The corridors could use some new carpets and I think probably more staff on breakfast required. Some of the food was not as hot as we would have liked but overall it was value for money. The view from the hotel room was the most amazing we have had from a premiere. We would definitely return.
