Inverness West hotel

I was so disappointed be this Premier Inn as it was the worst place I have stayed in. The room was so run down the carpet was stained, the curtains had large holes in them and the chair looked as someone had sprayed it with beer but was dry and did not smell so it had not been done recently. The reception was rarely maned and we even tried calling them but never ever picked up after ringing five times, went to reception that had a button to press for help but the only thing that happened was a pager started to vibrate that was sitting on the the desk. The breakfast was not the best and only two staff trying to keep up with filling things up and clearing tables but failing as to many customers. One morning I asked for poached eggs and cook made them for me and passed them to me on a small plate and I put on to a big plate so I could add the rest of my breakfast, I laid the small plate on a large dirty one at the back of the pile of clean plates, I then saw that plate in the same place for the next three days, this made me wonder how good the clear down at the end of service was and the cleanliness of the whole restaurant.

The carpets are filthy, a stain on the bedding, curtains have holes. Towel rail rusty and dirty. Dust and dirt in corners. Noisy! Unpleasant musty smell in the rooom. Mould in Bathroom.

Terrible experience! Unfortunately, you don't feel at home in this hotel at all. You won't find any of the typical Highland hospitality. The reception staff is particularly rude; they seem very annoyed when guests arrive. The rooms aren't very clean. Dinner is absolutely to be avoided. Unfortunately, it's one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. There's no smile, and the service is terrible.

Short staffed, those working had to cover reception, the bar and serving food. Zero customer service, no smiles no eye contact (too busy too stressed). Room smelt damp and windows didn’t open even a fraction. Restaurant frequently ran out of things, even had no butter at breakfast! Feedback fell on very stressed ears!

RUFF.......told restaurant was full booked which was empty all night. Breakfast buffet was a health hazard, staff where very rude and unhelpful. Room was dirty with cob webs above the bed and public toilet where disgusting. This was a company booking, however I feel sorry for people thats staying here on holiday.
