Inverness West hotel

I just want to say a big thankyou to your staff at Inverness west ….. my vehicle camera had picked up someone trying my car doors and then a member of your staff approaching this person telling them they are acting suspicious and to move away . They listened and I cannot thank your staff for being on the ball…everything I own is in my car so it would have been devastating if it was broken into ….. once again thank you so much

Inverness West Premier Inn Used self check in as very long queue - but no room card to program at machine. Asked for one from reception desk but was told to join main queue. Waste of my time - no sign to say not to use the automatic check in. Only one towel in room despite it being a double room booked for 2 adults. Same check in staff trying to run the bar and restaurant. Very slow and run off their feet. They looked very harassed and were having to deal with multiple complaints about room cleanliness etc from other customers. You desperately need more staff on duty.

The hotel feels dirty and the staff clearly dont want to be there and offer little help. The sheets seemed clean in the room but i felt uneasy about my hygiene the whole stay. The view from the room was good but only from the side i was staying in, other rooms did not have a good view. I got the breakfast package and could not have been more disappointed, the food ranged from bad to mediocre with the only really edible items being the cereal, and many of the plates and cutlery were dirty which made it hard to trust the food. To top off the experience I was also given a £200 parking charge for forgetting to validate my parking to use the free car park which felt like a scam orchestrated by the hotel and the parking company. Overall i recommend staying practically anywhere else in Inverness if you are visiting and even on a budget i would spend the extra money on a better hotel.

Terrible experience. Place is a shambles run by a skeleton staff. First bedroom offered was smelling of damp. Second room not much better. Generally outside and inside the hotel is uncared for. Did not try the food. Will not return

Good location and comfy beds and bathroom was clean and it was quiet, but beyond that, the staff were overworked, they were understaffed, and service was just not up the par because of it. One person to check in - stood in line for over 30 minutes. Self-check in had one working of the two and when you used it, the end result was room not ready. So back in the line. Housekeeping were behind by about an hour. I ended up running late for my appointment at 5 p.m. There was no one in the bar to assist with drinks - they were working the check in. A great loss of revenue. The room had one set of towels, there were two of us. The air turns off at 2 a.m. so when I woke up and was sweltering and had to spent 10 minutes sorting it before going back to bed. It was so disappointing and because of that it was overpriced in our opinion. Breakfast in the morninig was fine for cereal etc but the hot food had been sitting too long so it was cold, dried out and awful.
