Inverness West hotel

We had booked two rooms for the family, on requesting room service, no cleaning service was provided for all four days, which was very upsetting. At last I had to collect some clean towels from the reception for the last day.

Very unhelpful at reception on arrival. Room was smelling of damp. Shower room had damaged fixings. Breakfast items were pretty much non existent and almost impossible to find a clean table to eat at. Nice from the outside, sadly pretty drab inside. Stayed years ago and it was great but it’s fairly gone down hill.

Overall dirty. Rooms dirty and dusty. Restaurant dirty. Restaurant walls stained and skirtings filthy. Hallway floors never hoovered nor rooms. Morning host unfriendly and unhelpful. Won't be staying here again.

Avoid this premier inn. Right from the greeting on the desk I knew we were going to be in for a terrible stay! Everything all just seemed like a chore for most of the staff. Rooms not very clean. Corridors filthy, obviously hadn’t been hoovered for weeks. Meal times were limited service as only had one chef on. The chef was a bully and we witnessed some horrendous workplace bullying to a member of staff who was doing her best. Every time I asked if possible to speak to a manager conveniently no one available. A sign on the desk at checkout to say no staff available as helping elsewhere around the hotel. I have a feeling they were just trying to avoid awkward conversations. Breakfast was so hit and miss and nothing was very well stocked. When asked if they had any more it felt like a big inconvenience. This place gives premier inn a bad name. Definitely stay elsewhere. We will not be returning.
