Inverness West hotel

Terrible place to stay. Room was smelling strongly of dampness, bed looked like it had been slept in, dirty black marks on the bed cover, carpet was filthy. I complained and asked for another room but hotel was full so had to put up with it. Bar and restaurant area very grubby, carpets was sticking to my shoes it was so dirty. Food was poor. One of our party ordered a curry and it was served in a soup bowl, for very good reason it turned out, he had to ask for a spoon to drink most of it it was so watery. Service at the bar was terrible, I was waiting at least 15 minutes to be served only to be told lager was off due to running out of gas. The staff were trying there best, I have no complaints about them. The hotel was understaffed. This hotel needs to be fully refurbished its a disgrace.

Worst hotel experience - poor service- rooms not ready, poor and dishonest communication - restaurant not available but left customers to queue for nearly an hour before this became clear - said that refund for payment for food had been processed - it hadn’t

Ground floor room. Smelt musty and damp and was minimally clean. Fortunately didn’t need to be in there for very long. Breakfast was a disaster. No clean tables, all had dirty plates left on them. Had to clean myself a table to be able to sit down. No hot food, it had been busy so all gone (only 9ish when we got there). They were cooking some more but we left after waiting 15 mins or so and only hash browns had turned up. Cold food was decimated. No clean cups. It was awful. Only 1 staff member trying to sort restaurant and 1 staff occasionally at front desk. Slept okay to be fair but the stay was not worth the money. Need a refund as didn’t have any of the breakfast we’d pre-paid for.

Usual Premier Inn room, no problem. Loch Ness House next door was a nightmare with the rudest of staff. Give it a MISS……

My wife and I arrived at the hotel after a 7 hour drive from Cairnryan, road works held us up on the A9. After we were checked in and went to our room we didn't have any towels or toilet tissue, My wife went down to reception and asked the receptionist for them, and was told they would be sent up later, we went out for something to eat and came back, no towels, so I went down and the guy on reception gave me the towels and i asked him to bring the toilet tissue and put it into the dispenser. we stayed for four nights and just had breakfasts, which was a total disaster, the fried eggs were like dried up, the scrambled eggs were baked into the dish and were disgusting, baked beans did'nt fair too well either, when the so called chef or cook came over I asked him was he not embarressed with what he was serving to paying customers, he didn't say a word, and walked away. one of the staff had a squeak in his shoe, and i told him he needs some oil on that, the next day his shoe was clicking. the outside of the hotel the rubbish bins were overflowing and fag ends scattered all around. we have stayed in Premier inns often and were always very happy with the service, but what we paid for just 4 nights an extra for breakfasts we could have gone abroad for a few nights instead
