Inverness West hotel

An utter tip. Room not cleaned properly. Certainly wan`t hoovered. Bed decent. Bathroom passable. Corridors manky. Clear shortage of vaccuum cleaners. Staff: couple were OK the rest were not not interested. Given one towel between 2. Asked for more on our way out to be sent and got back at 11pm and no towels? Had to go back to reception. Got mugged for £6 at the vending machine that the hotel has no resposisibility for. £10 a taxi into city. £100 a night fot a hovel. Best avoided.

Arrival was welcoming and the room was adequate and clean. The problems arrived with trying to get breakfast the next morning - there seemed to be one very grumpy member of staff available who was getting asked for everything from pastries, tea, milk, cups, plates, bowls etc etc. I had a choice Of some fruit and toast as my continental breakfast. All of the tables had been vacated and not cleared. The whole Experience was awful.

Stayed here in a business plus room. Not clean. Bed very untidy as if it hadn’t been done. Sheet to small for the bed. Restaurant very tired. Food not great. Very short on staff. Not a lot of choice for meals. Don’t do bar snacks. Hotel was full but not enough help offered. I think that someone has to be around to get things sorted out. Premier Inn needs to get things checked out on a regular basis. Surely they have people who go around to make sure that everything is okay. They will be loosing customers if they don’t get it sorted out.

I was so disappointed be this Premier Inn as it was the worst place I have stayed in. The room was so run down the carpet was stained, the curtains had large holes in them and the chair looked as someone had sprayed it with beer but was dry and did not smell so it had not been done recently. The reception was rarely maned and we even tried calling them but never ever picked up after ringing five times, went to reception that had a button to press for help but the only thing that happened was a pager started to vibrate that was sitting on the the desk. The breakfast was not the best and only two staff trying to keep up with filling things up and clearing tables but failing as to many customers. One morning I asked for poached eggs and cook made them for me and passed them to me on a small plate and I put on to a big plate so I could add the rest of my breakfast, I laid the small plate on a large dirty one at the back of the pile of clean plates, I then saw that plate in the same place for the next three days, this made me wonder how good the clear down at the end of service was and the cleanliness of the whole restaurant.

The carpets are filthy, a stain on the bedding, curtains have holes. Towel rail rusty and dirty. Dust and dirt in corners. Noisy! Unpleasant musty smell in the rooom. Mould in Bathroom.
