Inverness East hotel

Room was spotless, ideal location and easy access to main road through Inverness, restaurants was busy but very well run with no real waiting time for tables or after ordering food..Breakfast was excellent value..

Filthy hotel. It looks like it hasn’t been hoovered in months and felt grubby throughout. We were staying with young children and were disgusted by the lack of cleanliness. Avoid this hotel at all costs

We arrived at approx 6pm and self checked in and were allocated room 301 - we had already parked our car and taken luggage - but room 301 is in an external block so had to re-park and take luggage into another block to find when we unlocked the door the room had not been serviced since the previouse guest had left - so all the way back across the car park to reception to be told that it was the self check-in system that was at fault - letting out rooms that had not been cleaned!!?? allocated another room 144 in the main building so had to move car and luggage back across to main building - room 144 - was not hoovered - carpet was a mess - only 1 bath towel - so had to go back to reception (again) to get more towels - we had booked a room for 2 people so why only 1 towel - don't forget this is Inverness in the Highlands where Premier Inn charge Premier Prices ! shocking is the only way I can describe house keeping here - not only no towels but shower gel was also finileshed, could not be bothered going back down to reception for a 3rd time!! The entire room needed a good clean and dusting - I dropped something on floor and went to find it behind sofa bed and found a traveling drinks water bottle somebody had left behind, so don't know when house keeping last did a good hoover and clean in room 144 and totally forgot about room 301!!?? NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE WITH ALERGIES, EVEN THE FAN IN THE ROOM NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN- IT'S THICK WITH DUST! Nobody at reception on check-out to complain to - so I will not use this particular Premier Inn again and certainly not at this extortionate price, just ripping people off big style in Inverness, Scotland - there are better places to stay at such high prices. Take my advice and avoid - looks like mostly a hostel for work-men, I am finding it impossible at the moment to make a complaint online

Good hotel with restaurant next door which has vegan and Indian items also. Reaching room with luggage is a task as you have to open so many doors.

If I had some context the housekeeping at this premier inn I would have a better idea of why this hotel is so dirty. I had booked here before I had seen the reviews. Hoped they were petty complaints but no they were all correct and accurate. Doesn’t take a hotelier or housekeeper to see the shortcuts taken to pass these rooms off to new guests. Our room had not been hoovered nor dusted upon check in. The bath and yaps still had the dry watermarks from the previous guests shower. Visible thick dust on surfaces including the TV. The carpet not being hoovered was probably the worst part and all the corridors look like they are never hoovered at all. When we checked out all the housekeeping trolleys were out but no signs of hoovers so begs the question maybe hoovering isn’t done here? The 2 stars were for the comfort of the premier inn beds and pillows which gave a comfortable sleep or I would have given only 1 star. It’s an embarrassment to the country when people all over the world come here to stay and pay good money and get a filthy hotel to stay in!
