"Unimpressed stay"
Having used premier inn frequently and recommended Premier inn to family, I was very disappointed with this Premier inn in particular.
Carpet needed a good vacuum both in room and in corridors.
The seal between bath and tiles was mouldy, I know this can't be helped at times but still not nice.
The shower curtain had half the to hooks missing so didn't really do its job.
Only one sachet of coffee and a couple milks, needed to go downstairs to get more.
Staying here for 3 nights for a family wedding, and no house keeping, not very well advertised that we were required to request house keeping if we needed it, butt to have nothing not even bins emptied is a very poor service.
The establishment attached to this particular Premier Inn is closing and can see why it is. Bar closed at 9pm not ideal .

"Bad hotel, awful customer service!"
Hotel was very noisy and tired. Very poor sound insulation between rooms. It also sits next to a busy road on one side and car park on the other. My room was illuminated by car headlights during the evening.
However my biggest grievance is that the hotel could not provide me with an VAT receipt when I checked out. THIS BREAKS UK LAW. I had to come back to the hotel in the afternoon for it and she still couldn’t provide me one. She said she had spoken to her manager who would e-mail me one that afternoon but nothing arrived. I asked for a direct telephone number which I could call, which she provided. I called 53 times over the next couple of days but no one picked up. Eventually I called an international call centre, which took 20 mins, to get my receipt.
The customer service was horrendous! I travel a lot with work and this was the worst stay and experience I have had in a long, long time.

"Very pleasant and helpful staff, shame about carpets not being vacuumed, and cold food at breakfast."
Check in was excellent. Second bed not made up, bedroom carpet not vacuumed. The food at breakfast on Sunday at 7:15am (service starts at 7am), was cold. The plates were cold.

"Staff friendly but the place is a dump"
The place outside was dirty with rubbish everywhere, when we went to check in we were told the rooms were not ready. We were not able to get into the room until after 6pm and when we did get in the bins hadn't been emptied and the room was not hoovered fully. There was no food as the restaurant was not open due to staff shortages but we were given a free breakfast which due to our check out time we could not use. Staff was friendly but I wouldn't be staying there again. I would honestly say avoid this place.

"Dirty, grubby and absolutely not worth a penny"
Dirty, grubby and absolutely not worth the money
We were really disappointed with our stay at Premier Inn Inverness East. The hotel smelled stuffy as soon as we arrived and the carpets throughout were absolutely filthy.
When we got to our family room, one of the beds hadn’t even been made. We then found bedding shoved underneath the bed, complete with disgusting brown stains ( see photo). At that point, we went straight back to reception and asked to be moved.
The second room was slightly better, but still felt grubby and certainly not up to the standard I’d expect from Premier Inn. The pillows were horribly flat, you had to fold them in half to get any support, and there was just one towel provided for three people. I wonder if they even employ housekeepers?
For what we paid, this was completely unacceptable. The whole place felt tired, dirty and poorly maintained. I’m not particularly fussy about hotels, but basic cleanliness is non-negotiable.
Avoid like the plague. It makes me itch just thinking about it.
