"The most disgusting Premier Inn"
Location was great. But that's all I can say about our stay there. The first room we were allocated to was absolutely disgusting. Mould in the corners of the bedroom near the windows the bathroom was really bad mould on walls mould round the bath on the sealant and tiles mould behind the taps mould in shower head. Floor in toilet was so dirty carpet in room hadn't been hoovered in god knows how long. Generally disgusting. We complained and were moved to a different room and that also was disgusting blood on bathroom floor mould on tiles and mould behind taps soap dispensers covered in years of grim I had to clean everything then used wipes to clean under the taps and oh my God that was disgusting and people are drinking from them. Dressing table was covered in drinking stains and the walls had stains over them had to clean that to carpet again hadn't been hoovered only one cup one bath towel and no had towel just 2 bath mats. Stains over duvet covers and sheets. Felt so dirty staying there. Don't think they have anybody cleaning the rooms. Hall ways hadn't been hoovered the lift was disgusting and the stairway. Until they get this sorted I wouldn't advise anyone staying there. Which is sad because it once was a great place as I have stayed before but won't be returning.

"We got very little sleep."
We use Premier Inn hotels a lot and in general they are excellent. Our stay at Inverness East was not a good experience, as we were given a room with an adjoining door to the room next door. Unfortunately the people in the room next door decided to have a loud party until 2am and they kept banging on the adjoining door. This was not the hotels fault but we'd not stay in a room with an adjoining door in future.

"Comfy stay"
This has got to be 1 of the best premier inns I have stayed at, staff member was very pleasant and helpful.

"Impossible to sleep due to noise from the room next door."
Booked this hotel as it is close to Raigmore hospital and I had to be there early for surgery. Unfortunately we were given a room with an interconnecting door which meant there was no soundproofing to the room next door. Our neighbours were particularly noisy and stayed up into the early hours so it was impossible to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are guaranteed a soundproofed room.

"Uncapped needle found in room - cleaning standards are shocking in premier inns!"
Well - where to start,
On arrival we checked in using the self service easy enough to do - allocated room 18.
Got to the room Key cards not working - back to reception nice lady re- keyed them and boom door opens.
The room - first thing that hits you the reek of cannabis.
Side note - I had requested a cot as my self wife and 8 month old where up in Inverness for a family occasion.
Back to the room - cannabis reek - no cot in the room even though I had requested this and booked the room about 4 months ago for a 3 night stay.
Due to a very poor experience in a different premier in a month earlier - where my 8 month old was crawling on the floor and started to play with something she found ( previous guests medication - amphetamine tablet).
I thought it be best to get on my hands and knees and just check the floor for any tablets or something a baby should not get when crawling.
Well - that’s when I checked the right had side of the bed on the floor - there was an uncapped lance (NEEDLE) for taking im assuming finger prick tests just sitting in the corner of the floor.
Can you imagine if my baby was crawling and got a needle stick injury.
Well needless to say - I went right back to the reception and explained what we had just discovered with maybe some more enthusiasm than needed. But I feel I had to convey the seriousness of what occurrd.
Reception was very very apologetic and this was welcomed - we were moved rooms and I was asked to inspect the room prior to going in, it was a big improvement on the first room but the floor was still dirty with visible bits of debris from previous guests but it was better.
(our baby was not once put on the floor of either rooms just in case)due to our anxiety and worry that something may happen to her.
We’ll reception give them there due did try to remedy the situation- they refunded our breakfasts but we cut our trip short one day and decided to leave early our baby could not burn that energy by crawling, she was sleeping terribly anyway and we just did not feel safe in a very dirty hotel.
The hotel needs new everything to be fair - premier inn is certainly more of a low end budget hotel these days. It use to be a reputable and reliable hotel at a good price. But just in those two rooms the standard of cleaning was shocking and dangerous and I would urge all parents to check - check and check again the door and any places little baby hands or any child could go / explore.
