"Disappointing stay."
Quite often stay in Premier Inn hotels throughout the year and I have to say this one is very, very poor standard. On the outside the pavement had litter and the facade is looking very unloved and in need of a paint up as the existing paint is peeling off badly. The lobby is very shabby looking, dirty tiles and stained decoration on the walls. On the positive side, the gentleman who checked us in was extremely pleasant & helpful. The meal deal for the weekend wasn’t available so opted for breakfast only, this ended up pretty disappointing as there were very limited offerings with hardly anything on the counter and few items left in the dishes, the black pudding was dripping in grease and the other items were just ok. One of the elevators was different internally to the other but this isn’t an issue, it just gave the impression they hadn’t bothered refurbishing the other. The room was fine, but the shower Seal on the bath was missing and the water poured out onto the floor as we didn’t notice this the first time it was used. Towels had to be used to soak up the flood. This hotel needs work in some areas but could be nice. I won’t be coming back here as there are others that are better.
"Good place not too far from main street"
Decent size shelves to put your things on, as their is no luggage rack. Very slow internet. When you put the light on in the bathroom the fan goes on and it's really loud. After you close it, it still makes noise for awhile. Asked room to be cleaned, but only the beds were made. Needed toilet paper and for the room to be vacuumed. Josh at front desk was helpful.
"Ok"
Bedroom great but avoid the breakfast I have spent the day on the loo😭😭. Food lukewarm. Fruit salad warm I'm guessing defrosted in the microwave
"Anniversary weekend"
We stayed here for our Anniversary weekend and it was amazing from start to finish. It’s the first place I have ever stayed with a great nights sleep due to the amazing bed. The breakfast for £10.99 was absolutely delicious and loads of choices and brilliant coffee. When we go away again I’ll make sure we look for a premier inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
"good overnight stay"
comfortable stay with everything as expected, shame they request £15 to check in 1 hour early when the room was clearly ready.
