"Frustrating experience"
The hotel is run-down. Everything is dirty. I mean everything - the carpet, the toilet, the utensils, the shower area, the kettle etc etc. The most frustrating thing is the wash basin. It’s stuck and became something like a “fairy pool”. When I demanded a room change, the receptionist insisted that the whole hotel was full and that the technician would only come on the next day. Brilliant, as I only stayed one night, what good to be if they could only fix the problem the next day? Miraculously I could finally get another room after pressing my case, despite the hotel was full as I was told. Anyway the whole experience with this hotel was frustrating.

"Quiet, comfortable, great breakfast - easy walking to town and train"
The best parts of our Premier Inn stay were the friendly, helpful staff and the memorably tasty breakfast. We chose the cold continental buffet, and we had yogurt, fruit, granola and delicious, flaky pastries. The coffee machine produces a wide variety of options, and we found the perfect cup for each of us. Loved the location right on the River Ness, and they are convenient to the train station. The hotel is easily within walking distance of the train and all that the downtown has to offer, and yet the room was quiet and comfortable.

"Room dirty and bathroom in disgusting state."
My cousin and I spent 2 nights at this hotel. We had 2 rooms one of which was an accessible room. Neither of the rooms were clean. The room I was in was very dusty, and the fridge was dirty I mentioned this to the duty manager who came and cleaned my room.
My cousins room was very dirty, the bathroom was disgusting. There was urine down the front of the toilet, the shower seat was stained with urine. The floor under the shower had urine stains on it, between the toilet seat and Lisa’s filthy. The grab rails were all dirty. The fridge was dirty, there was a dead spider on the net curtain. This was a premier plus room there was no iron or ironing board. The wardrobe floor was so dusty your clothes would have been filthy if they had been hung up. But this wasn’t possible because there were no coat hangers. We mentioned this to the duty manager and asked for the room to be cleaned. She said this was not possible as they couldn’t clean the whole room.
Very dissatisfied indeed

"Great location - just outside the centre"
Stayed for two nights at the end of April 2026 (£334 room only + £28 parking for the duration).
Pretty good Premier Inn experience, great team - especially the young lass behind the bar who gave us some advice on where to go on the next leg of our tour round Scotland.
The room was clean, stocked to expectations and somewhat of a view over the river. A fair size as well. The location is very good. On a little one way side street that looks like its been recently updated.
One slight issue, one of the lifts makes a hell of a noise when it sets off - as we were in room 401 (pretty much next to the machinery) - we heard it a bit at night.
Inverness itself has a fair bit going on - we walked over the bridge to a local cafe for breakfast, took 10 minutes if that. A few pubs and shops are very close by. The castle and museum is worth a visit as well.
Overall, a good Premier Inn - recommended if you want to wander round the city.

"Great stay 😍"
Fantastic location, friendly and hospitable staff and a great breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable, so we slept well for all 3 days that we were there. On checkin, we were informed about one of the boilers not working but we never faced any issues while bathing, maybe the water at washbasin was at best a bit tepid, but we were ok with that. Overall had a lovely stay.
