"Good and quiet location with no service while in needs"
The location is convenient and very close to supermarket and city centre. The neighborhood is quiet.
The staff is not very attentive and they sometimes just can’t respond to the buzz when calling at the reception desk. My request for room cleaning service had been missed.
During my stay, we encountered unexpected medical situation. Unfortunately, no support was provided. There is no uber service in Inverness and NHS 111 advised us to go to the emergency centre. When I sought support from them, a staff just showed me the phone and then went away. Hence, please expect no service from this hotel except providing a roof to stay.

"Great location, but no staff on reception"
Stay here was fine - basically just slept in the hotel, and for that it was good. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and location was great - 2 minutes walk over the bridge to the city centre, and 10 minutes or so walk from the train station. All felt very safe and accessible. Seagulls can be a bit noisy but didn't hear any noise from pubs/bars etc.
As others have mentioned, parking is limited at the hotel (I didn't park there but I think was charged at ~£15 a night), but you can park in the Tesco car park right behind the hotel with the yourparkingspace app (see the signs in the car park) for around £10/day, or the cathedral car park is a 5 minute nice walk down the river and is around £5.50/day.
The downside was the lack of staff at the hotel - the reception desks were never manned. I arrived alone at 11pm and to not have staff on reception wasn't great. Self check-in worked fine, but half the reason I wanted to stay in a hotel rather than self-catering was to have a human being around when arriving late at night. I realised the following day (after waiting around in vain for anyone to return to the reception desk) that there's a buzzer to press if you want help, but it's not obvious, and to have staff hidden away unless summoned doesn't seem to meet the promise of a manned reception.
Also a minor but irritating point - the vending machine in reception doesn't sell water, only energy drinks - if you want water, go to Tesco!

"Great staff"
Room 403, don’t fall asleep in there! had to move rooms, staff were great in helping me move, the unwanted guest stayed in the room thankfully.
I am a believer now

"Would not stay again"
Firstly self check-in did not work. There was a Wue at reception with no staff member on reception at the 3pm check in time - which you think there would be. Got into the room which was dusty, and cobweb filled - also missing the hand towel. Furthermore although the widow is fitted with a safety mechanism so it doesn’t open fully - it doesn’t properly lock/shut therefore was very noisy. There were also holes in the bedding. This was a premier plus’s room with a view which was more expensive. Definitely not worth it and would not recommend.

"Be cautious, very dilapidated"
Let's start with good. Dean was the best worker! His smile, helpfulness and cheerfulness, made him impressionable. It is also in a great location for everything, very walkable to all the spots.
Upon arriving, we waited with other people for someone at the counter. We could only find the guy cleaning the bar area, and he had to go search for us. Helpful tip -- there is a buzzer on the wall you'll need to ring.
While we were waiting, we needed to use the restroom. The Ladies was out of order. Luckily, there was a handicap bathroom for use.
The hotel, in general, could use a good scrub and updates. The carpet is disgusting, the wood is falling apart on nearly every doorway, and it generally looks dilapidated.
In the evening, us and another couple had come back with some McDonald's to share before going to bed. We were not drunk, we were not loud. It was before midnight. We sat outside the restaurant area at a table and we were quickly told we must eat our food in the room. We wanted to move to the two chairs in the entryway, and were told we couldn't eat there either. Mind you, there are zero signs about eating food in the lobby, and there is a food vending machine in the lobby! The man was rude about it, and it was extremely unnecessary, and something I wouldn't have expected, especially seeing the state of everything else in the hotel.
For one night stay, it was just fine. But I would not say this was great.
