Inverness Centre (River Ness) hotel

Thanks to the amazing staff including the manager and Shannon, we had a first class stay at this Premier Inn. From check in where we were warmly greeted and an early check in made available, to a very comfortable sleep in the immaculate room, to the wonderful breakfast. I’m coeliac and when I was asked at breakfast if we had allergies, the manager went through a very reassuring process, including all allergen information in an easy to read folder and said that my gluten free breakfast choices would be prepared fresh and served straight to the table. The breakfast was hot, delicious and served with a reassuring explanation about the preparation for reducing cross contamination. My husband’s breakfast was also hot and with loads of choice. This Premier Inn is a highly recommended from us.

Have been going here for years very disappointed this time.Carpets dirty and very stained.Mould on trim round bath.Smell of Cannabis in staircase. There wasn’t an option to have evening meal as they had no staff to cook both nights we were there.We did get breakfast it was fine. . Staff were all lovely in reception bar and restaurant. The price we paid i would have expected better.Needs a good tidy up and carpets all cleaned. Another issue was the price of parking over £30 for 2 night that in my opinion was very expensive. Awesome location but the hotel is extremely shabby. Carpet is old so the building doesn't smell fresh. The toilet in my room wasn't clean which ruined the experience for me. After that I couldn't wait to leave. In their defense, the front desk was very polite and cleaned it after I told them but it should never have happened. Would not go again.

This could be a lovely hotel if it had a deep clean. It’s in a beautiful location with views across the river but that’s it’s only positive. The bed was clean, the toilet was ok, but it ends there. Communal areas, corridor carpets and tiles, the lifts, back stairs are very dirty. The room was thick with dust, bathroom black mould, washbasin overflow blocked with filth. Moral of the story - read the trip adviser reviews before booking

This is, hands down, the most expensive, dirty hotel we have ever stayed at and that says a lot because we've visited twenty different countries. You check yourself in at a kiosk and code your own keycards. Then you take your luggage up in an elevator whose floors likely haven't been mopped/cleaned since Easter Sunday. The rooms are small and very basically furnished, which would be fine if they were clean. There was dried milk on the desk. Some unknown dark substance inside the tea kettle, and crumbs all over the desk chair. The sheets are scratchy and there's a hump in the middle of the bed where the mattresses meet. Fortunately the bedding was clean so we stayed. If we had booked more than two nights here we would have checked ourselves out early and found some place else to stay. One star for the clean bedding and one star for the riverfront location but this will be our first and last stay at a Premier Inn. Motel 6 at Hyatt prices.
