"Read the reviews before booking"
This could be a lovely hotel if it had a deep clean. It’s in a beautiful location with views across the river but that’s it’s only positive. The bed was clean, the toilet was ok, but it ends there. Communal areas, corridor carpets and tiles, the lifts, back stairs are very dirty. The room was thick with dust, bathroom black mould, washbasin overflow blocked with filth. Moral of the story - read the trip adviser reviews before booking

"First and last stay at a Premier Inn."
This is, hands down, the most expensive, dirty hotel we have ever stayed at and that says a lot because we've visited twenty different countries.
You check yourself in at a kiosk and code your own keycards. Then you take your luggage up in an elevator whose floors likely haven't been mopped/cleaned since Easter Sunday.
The rooms are small and very basically furnished, which would be fine if they were clean.
There was dried milk on the desk. Some unknown dark substance inside the tea kettle, and crumbs all over the desk chair. The sheets are scratchy and there's a hump in the middle of the bed where the mattresses meet.
Fortunately the bedding was clean so we stayed. If we had booked more than two nights here we would have checked ourselves out early and found some place else to stay.
One star for the clean bedding and one star for the riverfront location but this will be our first and last stay at a Premier Inn. Motel 6 at Hyatt prices.

"Never again...."
This was our first stay in a Premier Inn and it will be our last. The carpets and tiles were not clean. Mold and rust in the bathrooms. NOTHING is included. You get single pull out tissues instead of a roll of toilet paper. Not sure what you do when the dispenser runs out? There were no refills in the room and you have to tell them if you want housekeeping to come and give you more towels. No face tissues, napkins, washcloths, only 1 hand towel for 2 people, no safe. Instead of refillable bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner there was one bottle to be used for body wash and shampoo. Who washes their hair with body wash? We stayed here because it was a last minute booking and the hotel has a good location.

"Dirty"
Stayed here for three nights at just shy of £700. Booked a room with a river 'River View' over three months in advance and paid in full.
We couldn't enjoy the room (number 303) because of bird droppings and gulls immediately outside our window on the wide sill. Couldn't open the window because of the smell and danger of seagulls (sitting outside) entering our room. Coffee machine didn't work, towel for one person only, dirty cups and teaspoons stuck to the surface they had been left on. Now doubting the bed had been changed since previous guests! Public areas piled-high with used crockery and litter on the floor.
Complained to hotel manager (Dean) who appeared disinterested and informed us the gulls are protected and bird droppings are cleared once a year.
Found clean and comfortable accommodation a short walk away at the Palace Hotel & Spa.
Made a formal complaint and demand for a refund to Premier Inn on our return home. Took two months to get back to us and put (without any discussion or negotiation) just £409 into our account.
Lots of stress, expense and a danger to health. A ruined holiday.
Can only guess Premier Inn are running this hotel down before its closer.
