"Hostile Management and Deeply Concerning Racial Bias"
I am beyond disappointed with my stay at the Premier Inn Inverness Centre (River Ness). While the hotel’s location is great, the treatment we received from management was unacceptable and, frankly, felt discriminatory.
The Manager, Dean, was incredibly rude and dismissive. When we asked why our room hadn't been cleaned despite our requests, he didn’t apologize. Instead, he snapped that he “wasn't informed personally.” His tone was aggressive and uncooperative throughout our stay.
The hostility continued at breakfast with a staff member named Shannon. Despite being within our time slot, she rudely told my family she “needed the table.” When I explained I had one small pancake left, she dismissed me with a sharp comment: “We gave you an hour to finish.”The most upsetting part was the clear disparity in treatment.
While Dean and Shannon were warm and sweet to Caucasian guests, they treated me, my family, and other Indian guests like "second-grade humans" or "cattle class." Being treated differently based on the color of our skin is something no paying guest should ever experience.I strongly advise other travelers of color to be cautious here. This wasn't just poor service; it was targeted, biased behavior.

"Riverside"
Lovely May break in the Riverside Premier Inn in the Scottish Highlands in one of the best prime locations by the Riverside in Inverness ( could do with a refresh and refit ) still clean and staff friendly and pleasant.
Inverness has fabulous public transport all close by ,trains ,buses and organised tours and for walking the Great Glen way, John O Groats tour, Fort Augustus and Loch Ness and many more .
Inverness has a wealth of history and heritage including the brilliant Church Street pub crawl with live traditional music all in easy walking distance from hotel.

The Bad:
- rooms need refurbished and updated
- slow drain in bathroom sink
- room smelled awful; odor never left

"Too expensive."
We stayed here shortly after it opened 3 or 4 years ago and is now looking slightly careworn.
Very friendly reception. Room was exactly as expected for this brand.
Breakfast, no surprises but very adequate.
Premier inn cheap and cheerful right? Wrong, £160 bnb for single occupancy. I think that's expensive.

"Worst breakfast service for years"
Breakfast was terrible, had to go up to counter 4 times as the food only came out in dribs and drabs. Not what you expect from a premier.
Obviously understaffed and they couldnt give a toss.
