"Premier Inn Inverness wheelchair."
We had an accessible room which was different from the normal layout. Rather than the bathroom being by the door it was inside the room and at the bottom of the bed. It is a right hand transfer. The room was clean and spacious but had one small peculiarity which was the bathroom vent, which only comes on in the afternoon and not when the light is turned on. This can mean that the steam from a shower does not clear and there is a sign on the door that says it can set off a sensitive fire alarm. The staff were friendly and kindly gave us a Wi-Fi card when one couldn’t be purchased online. Despite the hotel being next to the train line, it didn’t impact our sleep. Breakfast was tasty and the sausages were very nice. A good place to stay. Enjoyed it.

"Decent enough Premier inn"
I stayed here in August 2026, along with the other Premier Inns in Inverness West, the central one on the river, and the one in Thurso.
This one was a 15 minute walk from Inverness station. It was perfectly adequate. I had a Premier Plus room that had a bit more comfort (armchair, fridge, refurbed bathroom).
The one thing that struck me here and in the other Premier Inn properties was the apparent absence of staff. Breakfast service was being covered by just one member of staff who did well but was rushed off her feet, also doubling as reception cover. When I visited the other hotels it was the same and a case of having to press the buzzer to get someone, something that’s a recent development at Premier Inn.
Overall, a decent enough hotel for a couple of nights. Location just on right side of being walkable to/from the city centre.

"No use if you have a dog"
Our first experience of Premier Inn in 31 years and much better than expected- we would happily return but we cannot as we now have a dog

"Holiday"
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in this city and at the hotel. While the walk from the train station was approximately a mile, I would recommend utilizing a taxi or other transportation options for convenience. The self-check-in process was straightforward and efficient, as I did not encounter any staff members during my stay. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, consistent with the high standards typically found in Premier Inn establishments. It appeared to be a recently renovated or new extension. My only minor concern was the design of the chair in the room; its rocking mechanism and side handlebars were somewhat uncomfortable for my 6'5" frame, leading me to primarily use the bed for seating. The city center was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed exploring the various attractions, especially the River Ness walk. I look forward to the opportunity to return in the future.
