Inverness Centre (Millburn Rd) hotel

We have staying in this hotel many times for family visits and as always the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff (particularly Demi who served us) were friendly and efficient. The quality of the food available in the bar was also very good for this type of hotel. In addition to all this, ideal location and free parking make this the perfect spot for our many visits to the area.

Great building, great room and great service. We love Premier Inn because you know what you are getting and this one didn’t disappoint.

The staff I met at reception and in the restaurant were lovely - friendly and helpful. The dinner was very good, even though I had to wait for a while for it to arrive. Likewise the cooked breakfast was excellent. My room was clean and comfortable but ... it was incredibly noisy. At first I thought it was from a fan, or from an a/c unit outside, or the railway line opposite. But investigation did not reveal the source of the noise. I had already unpacked so I didn't ask for a new room, assuming that the noise would go away at night. But it didn't, and I had to sleep with noise cancelling ear buds, which was not comfortable. A pity because otherwise it was a good value stay.

Já estamos bastante acostumados a nos hospedar na rede Premier Inn em diferentes cidades do Reino Unido e, mais uma vez, tivemos uma boa experiência. Em Inverness fomos muito bem recebidos pela Vicky, que nos atendeu com muita cordialidade, simpatia e profissionalismo. Depois de muitas horas na estrada, estávamos bastante cansados, e foi muito reconfortante chegar ao hotel e encontrar um ambiente acolhedor para descansar. O quarto era confortável e o café da manhã foi muito bem servido, com boas opções para começar o dia antes de seguir viagem. Apenas um pequeno incidente ocorreu pela manhã e acabou sendo um pouco constrangedor. Depois de lavar meu cabelo, comecei a secá-lo com o secador do próprio hotel quando, de repente, o alarme de incêndio começou a tocar. Ficamos bastante confusos no momento e depois entendemos que provavelmente foi causado pelo vapor. Fiquei bastante chateada por ter causado esse transtorno, pois outros hóspedes tiveram que sair de seus quartos e ir para o pátio do hotel enquanto a situação era verificada, e um funcionário precisou subir as escadas para entender o que havia acontecido. Foi um episódio um pouco constrangedor e algo que nunca havia acontecido conosco em nenhum hotel antes. Fora esse momento inesperado, nossa estadia foi confortável e o atendimento da equipe foi muito atencioso. ****** We spent one night at the Premier Inn Inverness Centre (Millburn Rd) during our trip through Scotland. We are already quite used to staying at Premier Inn hotels across the United Kingdom and, once again, we had a good experience. In Inverness we were warmly welcomed by Vicky, who greeted us with great kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. After many hours on the road, we were quite tired, so it was very comforting to arrive and find a welcoming place to rest. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very well served, with good options to start the day before continuing our journey. However, a small incident happened in the morning that was a bit embarrassing. After washing my hair, I started drying it using the hotel’s hair dryer when suddenly the fire alarm went off. At first we were quite confused, and later we understood it was probably triggered by the steam. I felt very sorry for the inconvenience because other guests had to leave their warm rooms and gather in the hotel courtyard while the situation was checked, and a staff member had to walk up the stairs to find out what had happened. It was a rather embarrassing moment and something that had never happened to us in any hotel before. Aside from this unexpected episode, our stay was comfortable and the staff were very attentive.
