"An okay stay, could be better"
We stayed here as we were climbing Ben Nevis. Location is great as it’s only a 7 minute drive to the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre. The hotel, however, is very shabby and dirty. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and mould in the shower area. The toilet seat was broken (we stayed in room 18) and the lady I told at reception about this couldn’t seem more disinterested. The shower and soap dispensers were dirty and at £420 for 2 nights, it was a steep price to pay…! Staff at check in were friendly, although half the time the reception seemed unmanned. Not sure if we would stay here again. Cleanliness needs addressing and having a working toilet seat is a basic requirement in my opinion…! Location is very handy if you’re climbing Ben Nevis though…free parking on site too.
"Great stay"
Lovely stay . Great room comfy bed great friendly staff lovely food and staff very accommodating with food allergies always recognised us and had a laugh with us
"Poor for a premier inn"
When you arrive the hotel looks half derelict. It is very poorly looked after and maintained. On a couple of occasions no one at reception. Bedrooms very tired, bathrooms worse with mould. Breakfast was cold. All for £210 a night.
"Average Budget Hotel"
This is a budget hotel in a good location. our room is a good size, but room temperature is set at 24 degrees, the temperature control touch screen does nothing even if you press - signs multiple times, way too hot to sleep at night. Bathroom again very basic, shower in the bath with a curtain, however the bed is comfortably enough, good for 1 or 2 nights stay.
"Restaurant closed at 8pm!"
I arrived at the Hotel at 9pm after a long drive from Glasgow. I was tired and hungry. I was informed that the restaurant closed at 8pm. There was no food available until breakfast next morning. I had to go to bed hungry. This is not acceptable.
