"Smelly bed, toilet not flushed, strange smell at the reception and in the room"
Worst night I've ever had!! The room was dirty - pubic hair, toilet not flushed (number 2...).. really something I did not want to see, the bed was extremelly smelly (it smelt like sweat!! - the room was either not cleaned or it is used for staff! (same small as at reception - not the rest of the hotel!!)
"Terrible place dont go"
This place is terrible, the toilet smelled terrific and the rooms were disgusting the smell came from the bathroom and it wouldn't even flush the staff were terrible they were rude and obnoxious and the price for adult is outrageous it should be around 5£ not bloody 11 it expensive and the food is terrible, the staff kept shouting and kicking us out cause we wanted a better price the sink has mold the beds were dirty this places is a nightmare my family got sick and two of them kept vomiting this place is poop.
"Good"
This hotel has a great location and is very close to the town. A 5 min walk will give you one of the most breathtaking views. The rooms were comfortable. But the kitchen was not operational for dinner and the entire next day, which dampened the mood. The breakfast had a good spread and the black pudding was excellent. The best part of the experience was Jonathan who is at the main desk/reception. He is a pleasing personality, very warm and and excellent person. I would have given this experience a 3 start, but Jonathan is the reason for star 4
"Excellent Staff."
Excellent short break in the Premier inn at Fort William. Quick check by the very pleasant Lauren, people make businesses at she certainly made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. Nothing was an issue to both Lauren and the Barman (sorry never got his name, from Liverpool). Only down side was the restaurant not being open for food due to staff shortages. Lauren gave us a printed out page with all the restaurants that were close by with contact details. The hotel is 2 minutes from the beautiful town centre and parking is free. We will return.
"Good stay"
Was apprehensive about staying here after reading reviews, however had a great stay. In agreement with some reviews, the communal areas of the hotel definitely need addressing. The signage, carpets, stairs, walls and skirting are in need of deep cleaning and maintenance. The reception area is too small to cope with the number of guests checking in and the small of old cooking oil from the restaurant next door is overpowering when walking past. The reception staff were ok, but as usual with Premier Inn it was the housekeeping staff who were fabulous - always friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. However our room, a Premier Plus, was worth the extra as most negative reviews seemed to be from the standard rooms. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Ben Nevis. My only niggle was some mouldy grout in the shower but again, easily remedied by a bit of deep cleaning. We didn’t eat in the onsite restaurant (to be honest the smell put us off even for breakfast) but there are plenty of places within walking distance. Would stay again if in the areas.
