"Disappointed"
Very disappointed with our stay at the hotel.
The reception staff were not particularly pleasant however we put this down to the time of year and them being stressed.
We had to go to reception as our bed hadn't been made correctly and on further inspection the bedding was stained and there were hairs allove the bottom sheet.
When we politely advised of this we were met with an attitude. They did change bedding though.
Ran a bath only to realise they hadn't cleaned bath not sure if just expect people to take showers however the mould and marks on tiles could make you believe they just don't clean properly unfortunately.
We paid for breakfast for two days but didn't feel comfortable to eat there.
There was some heavy snow and no attempt to clear the customer car park.

"Outstanding."
I cannot fault this hotel at all. Yes, it may be a smaller premier inn but it sure packs a punch. Great location and closer to the nature trails! The staff, and I cannot stress enough, are some of the best hotel staff I have came across in years. Extremely attentive, productive, friendly and all have a great attention to detail. For us staying over the Xmas period, the staff did not let this falter them. The staff that attended the breakfast in the morning were later seen attending to the rooms, that to me shows how hard working they are! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable with all amenities that you would expect from a premier inn! The bathroom was also spacious and the added bonus of a bath was great! There was also no issue with cleanliness. Breakfast was a great bargain for £10.99, you could choose from full cooked or continental and everything was cooked to perfection. It was a bonus to have such a cheery chef on Xmas day! Cannot wait for our stay in Xmas 2026!

"Home from home, we’ll be back!"
We stayed at the Premier Inn Aviemore and from the moment we arrived, the staff were fantastic, allocated us a room with a bathtub (essential after a -5 weather day!) and help us book a table for dinner as local restaurants were closed, the reception team were incredibly helpful and informative. The room was modern and clean with nice atmospheric lighting which relaxed us all, beds were super comfy and had the choice of hard or soft pillows. The restaurant was busy but we were seated really quickly and our food was piping hot, we both had the burgers, which were possibly the best burgers we’ve ever had. No exaggeration! Our son had the fish and chips, perfectly crispy and home made chips were amazing!
Our waitress in the hotel restaurant (Lorraine) was fantastic and attentive, we felt very much at home . The perfect ending to a fun family day. We will definitely be back!

"Gone down hill"
Although maybe not entirely the hotels fault the residents above were extremely noisy meaning a poor night's sleep. No shower gel as it was empty. Was in family room and the single bed was uncomfortable.
Service was poor in restaurant food was ok however the waiter seemed more interested in families with young children giving priority to them and completely ignored others patiently waiting for service. An excuse that the chef was ok his own and was busy. The chef wasn't the issue it was the waiter that was the problem

"Smelly room"
We have used this PI many times, and enjoy them, m however we were VERY disappointed this time. There was an awful smell from the bathroom (much worse during the night), sour, sewage smell, the shower drain gurgled when we used the loo (so probably a dry shower trap). In the morning we asked at the desk to have it inspected. The fist response was 'nobody has complained before' so off to a bad start, maybe they didn'tbelieveus?. When we arrived later that evening, there was no indication that anybody had taken a look, however it smelled like drain cleaner had been used but the underlying smell was still there. During the night, the smell built up again! Even our clothes smelled of it when we returned home! There was no communication from management or offer of changing rooms (even though hotel was only 50% capacity). Easily the worst PI stay ever.
